Full time Concierge position available. 32BJ union benefits. Weekly schedule is as follows: Monday and Tuesday 3pm to 11pm. Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 7am to 3pm. Thursday and Friday off.

Position Summary:

The Concierge serves as the primary point of contact for residents, guests, vendors, and building staff, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety, security, and smooth daily operation of a luxury residential condominium. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced residential environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Resident Services

  • Greet residents, guests, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to resident inquiries, requests, and concerns.
  • Assist residents with reservations, service requests, and amenity access.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding resident information and building operations.
  • Coordinate communication between residents and management as needed.

Front Desk Operations

  • Monitor lobby activity and maintain a welcoming, orderly, and secure environment.
  • Answer and direct telephone calls, emails, and other communications.
  • Manage visitor access and verify guest authorization according to building policies.
  • Maintain accurate logs of visitors, deliveries, incidents, and service requests.
  • Coordinate package acceptance, storage, and resident notification procedures.

Building Security & Safety

  • Monitor security cameras, and building entry points.
  • Enforce condominium policies and procedures in a professional manner.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents, and security concerns.
  • Coordinate with building staff, and emergency responders when necessary.
  • Report maintenance, safety, or security issues promptly to management.

Vendor & Service Coordination

  • Verify and manage vendor access according to building protocols.
  • Assist with scheduling service appointments and coordinating building access.
  • Monitor contractor and vendor activity within common areas.
  • Maintain records of vendor insurance certificates and authorization documentation as required.

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and shift logs.
  • Process resident requests through property management software.
  • Assist with building communications, notices, and resident correspondence.
  • Support management with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Concierge, hospitality, luxury residential, hotel, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain composed under pressure.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required..

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to walk throughout the property as needed.
