We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resource Assistant to join our team. This non-exempt role supports HR operations, including recruiting, timekeeping, employee relations, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm for fostering a supportive workplace culture are essential for success in this role.
 
Office Hours: First Shift: Typically Monday - Friday from 8:00 - 5:00 on-site
Pay: Hourly - Based on Experience
 
Duties:
<ul>
<li>Recruitment and On-Boarding: Assist with screening candidates, scheduling interviews, preparing new hire documents, and coordinating orientation.</li>
<li>Prepare and process employee paperwork</li>
<li>Manage employee attendance program</li>
<li>Employee records management: Maintain accurate and confidential electronic and physical files</li>
<li>HRIS reporting - Paylocity</li>
<li>Support employee inquires and policy interpretation.</li>
<li>Assist in employee engagement activities and recognition programs.</li>
<li>Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives and other management directed work-related tasks.</li>
</ul>
 Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or GED required. PHR, SHRM-CP or similar HR certification is desirable. Experience: 2 years HR experience required. Recruiting experience preferred. Experience in Manufacturing HR is a plus. Skills:
<ul>
<li>Strong organizational and time-management skills.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels in the organization.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software.</li>
<li>Experience in Paylocity or similar HRIS system a plus.</li>
<li>Previous recruiting experience preferred.</li>
<li>Basic understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.</li>
