Serves as the main point of contact and maintains strong working relationships with hiring managers to provide a staffing strategy that fits the future needs/demands of the business. Works closely with hiring managers to schedule and review service level agreements (SLAs) and determine job requirements for hiring before recruitment begins. Determines applicant requirements by studying the job description and job qualifications. <li>20% - Process Improvement/Analytical Support Serves as a subject matter expert on recruitment and participates in the decision-making processes at each level. Conducts the planning, coordination and execution of recruitment process improvements. Utilizes complex but conventional analytical techniques to identify trends associated with key performance indicators (time-to-fill, etc.) and service level targets. Identifies root causes and best practices to develop appropriate action plan. Acts as backup for the recruiter responsible for all temporary staffing agencies. </li>

<li>50% Advocacy: Under the supervision of the AVP, the Director serves as one of UC's primary federal lobbyists, advocating on issues affecting the system, including tax, immigration, labor, economic development, intellectual property, technology transfer and commercialization, capital assets and infrastructure, contractor management and other issue areas as identified. The Director engages directly with members of Congress, congressional committees and staff, executive branch officials, federal agencies and association partners. The Director provides updates to UC FGR, UCOP (including university leadership), campuses, UC ANR and the affiliated national labs on federal developments; guides the development of UC's policy positions and priorities; and develops and implements legislative strategies and plans. </li>

 The Director works closely with internal and external stakeholders to build legislative coalitions and provide legislative strategy on issues. The Director drafts congressional testimony and questions; proposals for authorizing and appropriations legislation; prepares and assists and participates in preparations for advocacy meetings and hearings; and represents the university at events with federal and advocacy stakeholders. Assist with use and maintenance of equipment, hatchery facilities, ponds, and Water Quality laboratory.&nbsp;

Facilitate research and teaching activities among student employees, graduate students, research assistants, and collaborators.&nbsp;

Research Associate - Aquaculture Nutrition

Under the general direction of the Executive Director, the Director of Finance at Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) has oversight of the financial, risk management and information technology operations of the organization. In collaboration with the Executive Director, the Director of Finance is delegated a high degree of responsibility to recommend and implement fiscal policies and procedures in partnership with university colleagues to ensure that ASI operates appropriately within the financial policies of the California State University (CSU) Board of Trustees and the University, while sustaining sound business practices, and strengthening the financial health of ASI.
The Director of Finance will sit as a non-voting member and serve as an advisor to the ASI Student Board of Directors, which doubles as the Sacramento State Student Government. &nbsp;&nbsp;
The ASI Director of Finance serves as ASI administrator in charge in the absence of the Executive Director.&nbsp;
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Accounting 
<ul>
<li>Oversees the supervision and management of all aspects of the functional areas of the Accounting Services department, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, cashiering, fixed asset management, internal controls, policy development and implementation, legal, and audit compliance as well as maintenance of the general ledger.</li>
<li>Provides insight and education regarding ASI and CSU Sacramento budget and financial operations to the ASI Student Board of Directors, full-time staff, student-staff, campus partners and the student community at a level of their understanding.</li>
<li>Oversees the preparation of the annual financial statements and 990 for ASI and the Union WELL.</li>
<li>Facilitates implementation of quality standards and priority criteria for service processes.</li>
<li>Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction through assessment, staff training, and resource development. Ensures compliance with state and federal tax laws and reporting requirements.</li>

Fiscal Services

<li>Serves as an advisor to the ASI Student Board of Directors. <li>Organizes, directs and supervises the preparation of ASl's annual budget in accordance with the guidelines provided by the ASI Finance and Budget Committee.</li>

Job Description The College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources (CAFNR) at the University of Missouri invites applications for Assistant/Associate Professor of Agricultural and Applied Economics and the Al and Mary Agnes McQuinn Chair in Entrepreneurial Leadership. The successful candidate will serve as Director of the McQuinn Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and, based on qualifications, be eligible for a tenured professorship in the College’s Division of Applied Social Sciences (DASS). The position supports teaching and research relating to entrepreneurship, leadership, strategy, and related disciplines. This is a nine-month appointment. If hired at the Assistant Professor rank, the candidate will be appointed to the endowed Chair upon successful promotion with tenure at the Associate Professor rank. Unlike traditional entrepreneurship programs designed for a general business education, the McQuinn Chair’s position within CAFNR lends itself to a natural emphasis on entrepreneurship in life sciences, food and agriculture, rural development, and natural resource entrepreneurship. When created in 2004, the McQuinn Chair was designed to enhance research, classroom teaching, and one-on-one mentoring in entrepreneurial leadership, with a specific charge to enhance the life sciences economic engine in the State of Missouri and to help raise MU’s national reputation as promoter of innovation in this emerging field. This includes the pursuit of innovative and non-conventional visions, the parameters and requirements of risk-taking, and personal conduct and priorities.
