Responsibilities

<li>Provide antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, neonatal, interconceptional, and gynecological care</li>
<li>Plan and provide health care for women and individuals across the lifespan</li>

<li>Provide guidance and education for clients and families concerning health maintenance, admission and discharge, labor management, and physical/emotional support</li>
<li>Manage labor and birth of the newborn </li>
<li>Provide immediate follow-up care of the newborn infant, including circumcision and ongoing assessment and follow-up with the postpartum family</li>
<li>Seek medical consultation, co-management and/or referral for clients with medical, obstetric or gynecologic co-morbidities</li>
<li>Provide contraceptive services, guidance, evaluation, and treatment for minor gynecological conditions</li>

Granville Health System is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to women, including gynecological exams, family planning services, preconception care, prenatal and postpartum care, and childbirth assistance. This role offers the opportunity to provide care within a supportive, rural community-based setting in Oxford, NC, located 40 miles north of Raleigh.
 
The CNM will be responsible for managing a full spectrum of obstetric and gynecological care, including low-risk labor and delivery support, routine gynecological care, and reproductive health counseling. Obstetric Care:
