Position: Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
Location: Concord, MA
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site
Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive, patient-centred care to women throughout all stages of life, including pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, and gynaecological services. The CNM will work collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver evidence-based, compassionate care while supporting patient education and shared decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope midwifery care including antenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological services.
- Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout pregnancy and childbirth.
- Educate patients and families on pregnancy, birth options, preventive care, and treatment plans.
- Attend labor and delivery cases and support low-intervention birth techniques when appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians on high-risk pregnancies and complex patient cases.
- Conduct physical examinations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and order diagnostic testing.
- Review laboratory results, ultrasounds, and follow-up care needs.
- Support postpartum recovery, breastfeeding education, and maternal wellness.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
- Board Certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
