Working Conditions and Hours:

Most seem to enjoy this closeness and become good friends and helpers to each other. Tellers have a window or area to work at and are assigned their own cash drawer which no other teller handles. This ensures that each teller can manage his or her transactions for the day, and at the end of the day, each teller counts out the drawer to ensure that it matches the transaction records. Tellers work approximately 6-8 hours a day Monday-Friday, averaging 40 hours per week Rotational work on Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. is included in the job duties and days are scheduled well in advance for preparation and convenience. This is a non-exempt position.
