What’s a typical day as Bank Teller? You’ll be:
- Processing customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments accurately and efficiently
- Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving concerns
- Maintaining an accurate cash drawer and reconciling transactions at the end of each day
- Promoting bank products and services, assisting customers with account inquiries, and recommending solutions
- Ensuring compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including AML and KYC regulations
- Assisting in identifying and reporting any suspicious activity or potential fraud
- Collaborating with team members to meet branch goals and improve customer service
- Performing administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining customer records
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required); some college coursework in finance or business is preferred
- Bring previous experience in customer service or banking (a plus)
- Demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Are proficient in basic computer applications and banking software
- Can pass a background check and comply with all regulatory requirements
