Pay: $19/hr
A leading healthcare network has opened a new location and is seeking a medical assistant to support their orthopedic department. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of medical assistant experience and hold a national MA certification. 
What you'll be responsible for:
<ul>
<li>Provide compassionate care to patients.</li>
<li>Update patient information, including family histories and previous visit notes.</li>
<li>Conduct patient intakes and load rooms.</li>
<li>Perform vital checks and medication reconciliation.</li>
<li>Prepare charts prior to patient visits.</li>
<li>Complete prior authorizations.</li>
<li>Restock rooms and supply closets, complete inventory.</li>
<li>Triage phone calls for any physician or patient questions.</li>
<li>Update electronic medical records using EPIC.</li>
</ul>
What you’ll bring:
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 1 year experience as a medical assistant.</li>
<li>Proficiency in medical assisting and patient care.</li>
<li>Comfortable working in a sports medicine practice and handling fast-paced office visits.</li>
</ul>

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
