We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our team. This job is ideal for you if you are eager to learn, like to help people, not afraid of children, and is a team player. Experience in Medical Electronic health Systems, (Ecw preferred), Injections, simple lab testing,and taking vitals, is imperative. This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at supporting our medical staff and ensuring a high standard of care for our patients.
Medical Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vital sign assessments and accurately record patient information
- Take patient medical histories and document relevant details
- Administer vaccines and other medications as directed by the physician
- Update and maintain patient medical records in compliance with regulations
- Contact patients to provide test results and follow-up information
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment
Medical Assistant Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program
- Proven experience in a medical assistant role or similar healthcare position
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

Requirements:
Required to Work some Saturdays, half days, and some evenings up to 6 pm.
