Compensation: Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications, and includes: comprehensive benefits package with Medical, Vision, Dental, 401 K, Life Insurances, Short Term and Long Term Disabilities and a generous paid time off package. Office hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and employee can chose their schedule from options: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Are you a detail-driven legal professional ready to make an impact in a respected law practice? LHH is assisting a top law firm in&nbsp;St. Joseph, MI&nbsp;is seeking a skilled&nbsp;Legal Assistant&nbsp;to support attorneys in areas including family law, estate planning, and business law.
What You’ll Do:

Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, and legal appointments.
</li>
<li>
Draft, format, and file legal documents in state and federal courts.
</li>
<li>
Maintain organized and confidential client files and correspondence.
</li>
<li>
Support case management, discovery tracking, and document preparation.
</li>
<li>
Serve as a professional liaison for clients and internal teams.
</li>
</ul>
 What You Bring:
<ul>
<li>
3+ years of legal support experience.
</li>
<li>
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and document formatting.
</li>
<li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe; experience with SurePoint and Concur is a plus.
</li>
<li>
Excellent communication, proofreading, and multitasking skills.
</li>
<li>
A proactive, independent work ethic and a commitment to confidentiality.
