The DC Furniture Deluxer is responsible for prepping and minor touch-up work of furniture in delivery lanes to ensure it meets the quality and minimum prep standards.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>
Inspect and complete touch-up and minor repairs to all prepped furniture to ensure they meet the quality standards
</li>
<li>
Restore products to like-new conditions using proven techniques, including refinishing and applying toners, highlights, or glazes to obtain desired finish to the products
</li>
<li>
Assist with the prep of all furniture to meet delivery standards
</li>
<li>Applying lacquer or other sealers as required/needed</li>
<li>Clean and polish furniture</li>
<li>Understand, follow, and ensure compliance with all safe work practices and rules</li>
<li>Adhere to all Company policies and procedures</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma is required</li>
<li>1 year of hand and power tool experience</li>
<li>1 year of furniture product knowledge preferred</li>
<li>Must possess strong attention to detail</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience</li>
<li>Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.</li>
<li>Driver’s License Required</li>
<li>A satisfactory Criminal Record Check is required</li>
<li>Some exposure to solvents</li>
</ul>
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

<li>Routinely lift and carry objects up to 25-100 lbs. and assist lift 101 lbs. or more</li>

<li>Order parts and put comments in work order from the customers home</li>
<li>Finalize all billing notes from the customers home (symptom work performed - parts used labor amount)</li>
<li>Additional tasks, both within the scope of this position and outside of it, will be assigned and are expected to be completed within the agreed upon time frame.</li>
