We pride ourselves on building strong client relationships and helping businesses thrive. During off season, the workweek is 38 hours per week and during the summer the office is closed on Fridays. During tax season, additional hours are required including Saturdays, and it ranges about 45 to 55 hours per week.
Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage payroll processes, including calculating employee wages, taxes, and benefits, payroll preparation and review
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks, such as journal entries and account reconciliations
- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance
- Prepare and review sales tax reports
- Prepare 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 990 tax returns
- Communicate with clients on a friendly and professional demeanor

Key Responsibilities Include:

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

<li>Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or other applicable field of study; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>
<li>Minimum of 4 years of tax experience gained within a public accounting firm or related experience</li>
<li>Active CPA License</li>
<li>Individual and business income tax return preparation and review experience</li>
<li>Professional work ethic, integrity, and reliability</li>
<li>Establishes and maintains positive business relationships</li>
<li>Ability to be organized, multitask, and complete work accurately while meeting deadlines</li>
<li>Effective written and oral communication skills</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to work well as a part of a team</li>
