Summary Description:

&nbsp;LifeVest®&nbsp; is worn by patients at risk for sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), providing protection during their changing condition.&nbsp; It is lightweight and easy to wear, allowing patients to return to their common activities of daily living, while having the peace of mind that they are protected from SCA. &nbsp;
This is the perfect opportunity for the health professional with patient care and teaching experience to supplement his or her income. A typical LifeVest® patient is in the hospital awaiting discharge, and the Patient Service Representative sets up the equipment and trains the patient and caregivers on the&nbsp; use and care of the device. They also follow up with patients as needed to assure patient understanding and satisfaction. PSRs retain the flexibility to accept or decline assignments as their schedules dictate. Most assignments can be scheduled during free time – before/after work, and on days off.
Responsibilities:

<li>Contact caregivers and family to schedule services </li>
<li>Willingness to accept assignments which could include daytime, evenings, and/or weekends.&nbsp; </li>
<li>Travel to patient’s homes and health care facilities &nbsp;to provide services </li>

When you join usas a Patient Service Representative,you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
You Will:
<ul>
<li>Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner.</li>
<li>Obtain or verify proper insurance and patient information, collect signatures and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.</li>
<li>Collect and log all co-pays and fees</li>
<li>Answer/transfer incoming phone calls.</li>
<li>Schedule, reschedule or cancel new or current patients, confirm appointments and notify staff of changes when necessary.</li>
<li>Give patients appropriate orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, and provide directions to facilities if needed.</li>
<li>Coordinate with the back-office staff for timely and effective care of patients</li>
<li>Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.</li>
<li>Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.</li>
<li>Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.</li>
<li>Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.</li>
<li>Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.</li>
<li>Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.</li>
<li>Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.</li>

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

<li>High School Diploma or GED</li>
<li>Intermediate to advanced computer skills</li>
<li>Strong multitasking and communication skills</li>
<li>Experience providing exceptional customer service</li>
<li>Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.</li>
