Responsibilities
Role Overview &amp; Responsibilities for Audiologists: 
<ul>
<li>Conduct comprehensive examinations, evaluations, and auditory consultation</li>
<li>Traditional daily patient care will include comprehensive diagnostic audiological examinations, hearing aid evaluations, hearing aid selections, and repair</li>
<li>Dispense and adjust new hearing aids</li>
<li>Perform cerumen management, where allowed by state professional regulations</li>
<li>Complete required patient and clinical documentation in our proprietary electronic medical record system</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications
Qualifications:

<li>

<li>Audiology background with proficiency in the assessment, treatment, management, and evaluation of hearing disorders</li>
<li>Ability to work independently on a daily basis</li>
<li>Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills</li>
<li>Ability to use EMR, text, email, the internet, and to learn other healthcare related software</li>
<li>Self-starter attitude with the desire to deliver quality, thoughtful, and attentive care</li>
</ul>

Physical Requirements for Audiologist:
<ul>
<li>Ability to stand, to bend, and to lift</li>
<li>Ability to transport mobile audiology equipment (maximum of 15 lbs.)</li>
<li>May be occasionally required to transport patients in wheelchairs</li>
</ul>

Education &amp; Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Masters or Doctorate Degree in Audiology</li>
<li>Current state professional license</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license</li>
</ul>

Travel:
This is a mobile position. Daily travel is based on the patient care requirements for the specified service area; your practice. A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive significant distances on occasion is required.

What Youll Need:

Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accredited program (required)
</li>
<li>
ASHA Certificate of Clinical petence (SLPCCC)
</li>
<li>
Active Montana license from the Montana Board of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
</li>
<li>
At least 400 clock hours of supervised clinical practicum (minimum 375 hours of direct service)
</li>
<li>
36 weeks (or equivalent) of Paid Clinical Experience (PCE) under a provisional or temporary license
</li>
<li>
Passing score on the Praxis exam (or equivalent)
</li>
<li>
Demonstrated good moral character and a clear criminal background check
</li>
<li>
2+ years of school-based SLP experience (preferred)
</li>
<li>
Bilingual candidates strongly preferred (especially Spanish-English)
</li>
<li>
Prior teletherapy experience is a bonus
</li>
<li>
Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, dedicated home workspace
