Job Description 
Shift: Monday-Friday, 9am -6pm EST
The E-Billing Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of invoice submissions via various e-billing platforms and resolving e-billing issues for the law firm's e-billed clients. Excellent communication and a high level of professional service to management, attorneys and other staff is required to succeed in this role. Must have a high level of customer service, professionalism, and interpersonal skills. The role requires various interactions with all levels of management, amid a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

<li>*Work directly with the client’s E-billing Manager on any ad-hoc e-bill related management/client requests</li>
<li>*Responsible for the submission of electronic invoices and accruals to clients on monthly basis, overseeing the transition of clients to e-billing, and providing follow-up support to attorneys, and clients in all aspects related to electronic billing</li>
<li>*Handle heavy volume of highly complex e-submission assignments for key corporate clients; ensure all client guidelines, internal protocol, and firm's guidelines are followed during submission process</li>
<li>*Act as liaison between billing attorney/secretarial staff, and clients' staff assigned to electronic billing by providing expert level subject matter support</li>
<li>*Liaise with billing attorney/secretary, and client representatives in the resubmission of invoices; ensure corrective action is in place for future submissions</li>
<li>*Populate, maintain, and update data for assigned clients in the billing system and clients' external web applications; ensure all relevant information is updated and correlated in the firm's billing system</li>
<li>*Work collaboratively with department's supervisor to support e-billing systems by adding/removing user accounts, resetting passwords, assigning proper security levels, entering budgets, status reports, and matter profiles in various sub-systems</li>
<li>Perform ad hoc analyses of complex client accounts regarding collections, rates, and reduced and rejected invoices</li>
</ul>
Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>Associate degree or advanced degree preferred with concentration in Business, Accounting, or Finance. Commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of education, based upon candidate’s overall employment history</li>
<li>1+ years of e-billing experience within a corporate law department or law firm.</li>
<li>Knowledge of legal billing and Middleware systems a plus (i.e., Legal Exchange, Ty Metrix 360, Legal-X, Serengeti/Legal Tracker)</li>
<li>Proven knowledge and experience with BillBlast.</li>
<li>Knowledge of various Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard (LEDES) billing formats is a plus.</li>
<li>Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook, and ability to create, edit, and present complex data, analyses, and ad hoc reports.</li>
<li>Strong reading comprehension, analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Multi-task, use time efficiently and perform professionally and at a high level under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment, and successfully prioritize and adapt to changing demands.</li>
<li>Able to influence/steer at a senior and executive level within and outside client groups</li>

 Additional Information 
The&nbsp;salary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $26.00 - 28.00/ hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs.&nbsp;Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay. Position Objective:
 
The Chief of the National Guard Bureau, IAW Public Law 112.239, Sec 513, established a program to provide professionals (to be known as Transition Assistance Advisors (TAAs) in each State, the District of Columbia, and any territory of the United States to serve as points of contact to assist eligible members of the Reserve Components, their families and Veterans in accessing benefits and healthcare furnished under the laws administered by the Secretary of Defense and benefits and health care furnished under the laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs. The contractor shall ensure Reserve Component Transition Assistance Advisor services and activities are in accordance with Department of Defense Instruction 1332.35, Directive-Type Memorandum 12-007, in accordance with Public Law (P.L.) 112- 239 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2013, Sec 513; Title X, United States Code, Chapter 58, sub-sections 1142, 1143, 1144(a), 1144(b), and 1148, as well as Department of Defense (DOD) Directive 1332.36, and all Reserve Component Transition related service publications and sites listed in section 2 of the PWS.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
<ul>
<li>CTR will provide TAA services to all eligible Reserve Component Members, their family members and Veterans. Reserve Component members who have served on active duty in the Armed Forces for a period of more than 180 consecutive days, include all Army Guard and Reserve, Navy Reserve, Marine Corps Reserve, Air Force Guard and Reserve, and Coast Guard Reserve.</li>
<li>CTR TAAs will provide information, coordination, and assistance to transitioning service members in the following Reserve Component benefits. Benefits include: Employment Assistance, Health and Life Insurance, Financial Assistance, Disabled Veterans Benefits, Legal Assistance, Relocation Assistance, Physical/Mental Health VA assistance, Education and Training Assistance, and State benefits</li>
<li>CTR TAAs will perform outreach services including both social media and outreach marketing methods in order to provide information and assistance to eligible Reserve Component Members and their family members and Veterans in understanding and obtaining benefits and services through Veterans Affairs and the military health system. Topics include: Effects of a career change, Employment assistance relocation assistance (homelessness), Education/training physical health and mental health well-being, Health and life insurance, Finances, Disabled Veteran benefits - service members civil relief act - legal assistance.</li>
<li>CTR TAAs coordinate with appropriate Veterans Affairs, TRICARE, Veteran Service Organizations, and other resources to provide required information and assistance.</li>
<li>Participate in the mobilization and demobilization process to brief/advise eligible Reserve Component Members and their family members and Veterans on transition and information resources.</li>
<li>CTR TAAs will research and resolve issues associated with transition when Reserve Component member and/or their family members encounter problems.</li>
<li>CTR TAAs will coordinate with Veterans Affairs centers to assist law enforcement, court systems, state mental health authorities and fire departments with awareness concerning Reserve Component service members and Veterans that may need crisis intervention.</li>
<li>CTR will provide, as applicable, Reserve Component leadership personnel with the operation of reintegration programs for Reserve Component members returning from deployment to assist reintegration personnel with obtaining Veterans Affairs support for reintegration activities.</li>
<li>Transition Assistance Advisors will not to be used to manage the day to day operation of reintegration programs.</li>
<li>CTR TAAs provide information to, as applicable, Reserve Component leadership and coordinate with Family Support Specialists, Employer Support Groups, regarding entitlements available through Department of Veterans Affairs and other Veterans entitlement and benefit programs.</li>

Minimum Qualifications:
