The carpenter is responsible for the following:
<ul>
<li>Ability to follow blueprints and building plans to meet client needs</li>
<li>Construct and install structures and fixtures</li>
<li>Ability to measure, cut or shape wood, plastic, and other materials</li>
<li>Construct building framework, including walls, floors, and doorframes. Help erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes</li>
<li>Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures</li>
<li>Ability to work on staging / above ground</li>
<li>Taping experience a plus</li>
<li>Willingness to perform non-carpentry tasks as needed (cleaning, demo, floor prep, etc.)</li>
<li>Cleanliness, working in clean environments, occupied spaces</li>
<li>Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers</li>
<li>Work in a safe, OSHA approved manner</li>
<li>Maintain a positive attitude</li>
<li>Provide a good work ethic and effort towards all assigned tasks</li>
<li>Willingness to learn new tasks</li>
<li>Share knowledge &amp; help train others</li>
<li>Demonstrate consistent attendance</li>
<li>Ability to communicate &amp; collaborate clearly with the team</li>

<li>Minimum of 2 years of commercial carpentry</li>
<li>Metal &amp; Wood framing</li>
<li>Drywall</li>
<li>Millwork and casework installation</li>
<li>Doors, frames, and hardware installation</li>
<li>Must be able to travel to the jobsite(s) as assigned</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals</li>
<li>Proficient at reading blueprints, or ability to learn</li>
<li>Minimum tools required: tape measure, hammer, utility knife, tool belt, speed square, chalk line, torpedo level and driver index.&nbsp; HP Cummings will provide power tools</li>
<li>Strong organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner</li>
<li>Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work</li>
<li>Experience with computers and technology a plus</li>
<li>OSHA 10 training preferred, but will provide</li>
</ul>
&nbsp;Other Duties&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Working hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm.&nbsp; Please come to the site early enough to start work at 7:00am and be prepared to work up until 3:30.</li>
<li>Overtime may be offered to stay on schedule</li>
<li>Must be able to travel to the jobsite(s) as assigned.</li>
