Job Details:

• Minimum two years ICU experience required \n• No block scheduling \n• One year of nursing experience required \n• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina required \n• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC) required \n• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing required \n• BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing preferred \n• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards \n• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting \n• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects of care \n• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plans \n• Utilize healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies and procedures in delivery of care \n• Organize and prioritize care according to patient/family needs \n• Participate in patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care \n• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to evaluate patient care \n• Assess readiness to learn of patients, families, and caregivers \n• Participate in education programs and professional development activities \n• Promote cost-effective care and maintain a safe, clean and secure hospital environment
