Functions as the Medical Secretary at MOC-470 (2 Dudley St.) and reports to the office supervisor/practice manager. Primary responsibility is to provide medical secretarial support in the practice.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provides patients and families with a welcoming professional demeanor.

Shift: Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Coordinator to support our providers. This role is primarily focused on managing prior authorizations for procedures, with additional responsibilities in patient scheduling, insurance verification, and communication with healthcare facilities.
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Strong understanding of insurance verification and prior authorization processes.</li>
<li>Proficiency in EPIC or similar EMR systems.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.</li>
<li>Prior experience in a cardiology or electrophysiology setting is a plus.</li>
</ul>
Additional Skills &amp; Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Must have at least high school diploma.</li>
<li>Must have at least 3-5+ years of medical admin assistant/secretary II/III or back office prior authorization experience (within rev cycle or a practice).</li>
