Requirements
Education:

Required/Preferred Requirements:

<li>Five years current nursing, nurse educator, nurse practitioner experience or experience in a related area, required. </li>
<li>Current, unrestricted Kansas RN license and maintains throughout employment.</li>
<li>Obtains at own expense yearly TB test and other immunizations or physical examinations as required by clinical sites. Also, CPR certification obtained prior to going to clinical sites.</li>
<li>Previous teaching or training experience in adult education preferred.</li>

Florida Technical College Nursing Program is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Practical Nursing Program Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for administration, developing, delivering, and evaluating courses across the practical nursing curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment for students, and contributing to the ongoing continuous improvement of the program.
Minimum Requirements:

<li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program</li>
<li>Active and unrestricted RN license in the State of Florida</li>
<li>Minimum of three(3) years of recent experience in clinical nursing practice</li>
<li>Minimum of two(2) years of teaching experience. </li>

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Ensure the LPN program meets all Florida Board of Nursing requirements for curriculum, faculty qualifications, and student outcomes.</li>
<li>Prepare and submit required reports to the FBON, including annual program reports and documentation for site visits.</li>
<li>Maintain program approval status and readiness for audits or evaluations.</li>
<li>Monitor and analyze student performance metrics, including NCLEX-PN pass rates, retention, and job placement.</li>
<li>Develop and implement strategies to support student achievement and licensure success.</li>
<li>Track and report program outcomes to the FBON and accrediting bodies.</li>
<li>Conduct regular program evaluations and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and secure records of student progress, faculty credentials, and clinical site agreements.</li>
<li>Implement a structured system for evaluating teaching effectiveness, including student evaluations, peer reviews, and classroom observations.</li>
<li>Support faculty in meeting FBON-required qualifications and continuing education.</li>
<li>Facilitate faculty development workshops and performance improvement plans.</li>
<li>Develop and deliver engaging and effective instruction in assigned nursing courses, ensuring alignment with program curriculum, learning outcomes, and best practices.</li>
<li>Utilize diverse teaching methodologies including lectures, case studies, simulations, group discussions, and other innovative techniques.</li>
<li>Facilitate clinical learning experiences, providing ongoing mentorship and guidance to students in developing essential clinical skills and judgment.</li>
