Responsibilities

<li>Support the President &amp; CEO as their chief fundraiser,serving as an advisor and co-strategist in cultivating prospectivedonors and soliciting major, principal and transformativegifts.</li>
<li>Maintain an actively managed personal prospect pool of not lessthan 100 principal and transformative donor prospects.</li>
<li>In consultation with the President &amp; CEO, assess the growthpotential and effectiveness of the SU Foundation’s fundraisingprogram; direct the fundraising program, including budgetmanagement, fundraising personal supervision, planning, staffdevelopment, and evaluation.</li>
<li>Serve as a member of the President &amp; CEO’s management teamand participate in formulating and administering SU Foundationpolicies. Develop and execute fundraising policies, structure, anda personnel plan to accomplish mutually agreed philanthropicobjectives in coordination with the University.</li>
<li>Enhance the culture of philanthropy and substantially increasephilanthropic support and engagement.</li>
<li>Utilize best practices and professional organizationalguidelines to accomplish strategic fundraising initiatives, e.g.annual giving programs, planning giving techniques, capital, andcomprehensive campaign strategies.</li>
<li>Cultivate a strong working relationship with universityadministrators, faculty, and staff.</li>

 Requirements:

About the Positions
To meet areas of university strategic growth in global graduate education and impact, New hires will join an excellent, experienced and dynamic faculty and staff highly committed to exceptional education and student experience, the School for Professional Studies at Saint Louis University is seeking multiple, full-time faculty in the areas of information systems, cybersecurity, analytics, research methods and related disciplines.
All are open-rank, non-tenure track full-time faculty positions, with a nine-month contract running from August to May (renewed annually, with multi-year contracts possible after the first year). Candidates will teach up to seven graduate-level courses during the daytime with the bulk of the teaching occurring on campus. However, there is the possibility to teach select online sections if need dictates. There are also potential summer, flexible, online teaching opportunities.
As these are primarily teaching roles, research is supported but not required. However, active researchers and those with grants may be eligible for a reduction in teaching load. For interested faculty, potential or partial reduction in teaching load to maintain industry/professional practice in related area of expertise is an option. Additional expectations include limited service to support the program and School for Professional Studies as assigned by the appropriate Program Director in consultation with the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.
Faculty will join a community where teaching excellence is present and well-supported. The Saint Louis University Reinert Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning staff provide a wealth of resources for faculty development through in-person workshops, online offerings and individual consultation. Key Qualifications
Ideal candidates are cross-functional, with the ability to teach in more than one area. Exact courses will depend on program needs, although no new course preparation will be necessitated, as classes are already designed.

POSITION OVERVIEW
SEO saw rapid and unprecedented expansion during the pandemic,prompting the need to grow and redesign our C-suite. Over the lastthree years, we have welcomed three new Executive Committee membersto oversee critical functions within the organization— SEOProfessional Programs, SEO Scholars Program, and nationaloperations. In the same period, we have also doubled theorganization's workforce and budget, expanded SEO's regionalfootprints in North Carolina and Miami, and opened a second site inOakland, CA, to accommodate our growing Scholars program in SanFrancisco.
The SEO Chief Advancement Officer is responsible for strategicdevelopment planning and activities supporting the NYC SEO Scholarsprogram and SEO general program/operating support, representing 40%of organization's $51M budget with the goal to grow support by 50%over next 3 years. A particular focus will be on nationalfoundations, corporate donors, and major individual donors. The CAOis expected to be a front-line national relationship builder andmajor donor solicitor, managing a portfolio of prospects, andsupervising an approximately nine-member development team.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) William Goodloe,the CAO will be a leader in lifting the current org-widedevelopment efforts to new levels of success by broadening ways toattract and more deeply engage with national foundations,corporations, and individual philanthropists over time – to becomestrategic sources of revenue. The CAO will also work closely withSEO’s professional programs and its Marketing &amp; Communicationsteam to utilize SEO’s legacy of impact closing opportunity gaps toincrease national brand recognition as a whole. RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising:
<ul>
<li>Drive a strategy to raise roughly an additional $10 - 15m+ inannual revenue for SEO general program support and Scholars programsupport from a variety of philanthropic sources (annual giving,major gifts, corporate and foundation relations, alumni) andspecial events (an annual gala that consistently generates $8m+ inunrestricted funds and several smaller events focused on theScholars program and general SEO support).</li>
<li>Leverage SEO’s existing ecosystem and activate SEO’s untappednetworks within the spaces where the organization currentlyoperates, including private equity and corporate partnerorganizations.</li>
<li>In collaboration with the CEO, senior staff and Board ofDirectors, develop long-range strategies to significantly increasephilanthropic giving and serve as the key strategist for specific“asks.”</li>
<li>Build and streamline a development model that accounts formajor donor funding from various avenues, including those ofpartner and expansion offices, to ensure coordination and maximizedonor engagement.</li>

The Position: The Vice President for Finance and Administration/CFO (VPFA) reports directly to the President and is a key member of the President's leadership team. The VPFA must understand and be supportive of the mission of the College and be comfortable working transparently in partnership with the President, other administrative leaders, staff and faculty, and the Board of Trustees in an environment that embraces shared governance and values collaboration. <li>Possess acumen to assist the President by developing financial pro formas to support evaluation of current programs, proposed new programs, and potential revenue-generating initiatives and partnerships with for-profit entities.</li>

Responsibilities: Strategy and Financial Leadership:

<li>Serve as a member of the President’s Cabinet and advise the President and other key members of the leadership team on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters.</li>

<li>Partner with the President of the College and the Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing in developing strategies that work to increase undergraduate net tuition revenue.</li>

<li>Direct and manage the assets of the College and develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the College.</li>
<li>Guide annual budgeting process and produce financial, expense and budgeting reports.</li>
<li>Arrange for the preparation of the audited financial reports by external auditors.</li>
<li>Oversee the management of Information Technology, including critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise data and intelligence, computing hardware and software, and instructional technology.</li>
<li>Oversee the management of facilities including new construction, renovation, and non-routine maintenance.</li>
<li>Maintain oversight of Risk Management and Property Insurance and collaborate with Human Resources on the financial oversight of other insurance (including health, life, dental).</li>

Fundraising and Endowment:

<li>Oversee endowment investments as prescribed by the Investment Committee of the Board and advise the President and key stakeholders, including administration, on strategic use of endowment funds.</li>
<li>Partner with the Vice President of Advancement to ensure effective stewardship of gifts to the College.</li>
<li>Represent the College externally as needed, especially in banking and lease negotiations. Manage bond indebtedness and banking and auditing relationships.</li>

Staff Supervision and Development:

<li>Promote a culture of high performance and develop staff using a supportive, collaborative and data-driven approach.</li>
<li>Ensure all staff are customer-focused in their dealings with students, faculty, staff and others.</li>

Leadership &amp; Governance Dr. Damián J. Fernández is the 10th president of Warren Wilson College, assuming leadership on June 1, 2023.
A Cuban immigrant and first-generation college student who grew up in Puerto Rico, Fernández comes to Warren Wilson with more than 30 years of experience in teaching and leadership positions at both private and public institutions.
