Monitors the Finance Division review and approval of individual grants reimbursement requests on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Reviews each new or amended Federal and State grant for content with an emphasis on allowable activities and reporting requirements. Compiles with team members the financial data to be included in this special purpose governmental report.</li>
<li>Stays current with specific governmental grant regulations through personal research of government databases, participation in webinars and discussions with external auditors.</li>
<li>Prepares and files IRS Tax Form 990 and 990T reports for all non-profit MLH companies with assistance of external tax consultants. Coordinates data accumulation and review with multiple divisions (HR, Legal, IS, Foundations, Marketing) and Finance departments. Reviews changes in federal law for 501(c) 3 corporations and determine impact on MLH reporting by company.</li>
<li>Maintains and develops a competent, productive, and quality conscious workforce by hiring, evaluating performance, counseling, training, issuing corrective action, and recommending promotion or discharge of department personnel according to the MLH value system.</li>

<li>Master's Degree Accounting</li>
</ul>
Experience Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Eight (8) years of Accounting experience</li>
<li>Public Accounting experience preferred</li>
</ul>
Skills and Abilities
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and familiarity with auditing standards.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of computerized financial systems.</li>
<li>Ability to understand and prepare implementation programs for periodic changes to computer systems.</li>
<li>Good verbal and written communication skills with all levels of Associates, leaders, physicians, and government authorities.</li>
<li>Ability to lead and motivate staff toward organizational goals.</li>
<li>Ability to manage staff effectively in meeting volume and deadline requirements.</li>
<li>Skill in developing and implementing long-range work plans.</li>
<li>Ability to work without close supervision or professional guidance and exercise independent judgment.</li>
<li>Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools with proficiency in Microsoft Excel functions.</li>
