JOB PURPOSE:
The Clinical Manager, Recovery Center -Massillon (MRC)reports directly to the Director of Inpatient Behavioral Services and has the primary responsibility of assisting in the development, planning, and supervision of all behavioral services. The MRC of Behavioral Services is mainly responsible for assisting with overall management and supervision to the various clinical teams, including overseeing all nursing operations and security department, collaborating with counseling services as well as working with the providers and treatment teams. He/She performs a wide variety of job duties during their shifts, caring for and educating patients about their medical and psychiatric conditions, establishing trust, and building rapport with patients and staff and assisting the Director in the day-to-day management of the clinical operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Develops and monitors safety policies and procedures in conjunction with the Director of Inpatient Behavioral Services.</li>
<li>Provides a safe environment for patients and employees through identifying/correcting/reporting health and safety hazards.</li>
<li>Responsible for assisting in identifying quality indicators, data collection &amp; follow-up for improving organizational performance across clinical program.</li>
<li>Reviews and educates staff regarding documentation and clinical practice including: inspection of medical charts to ensure compliance with QI &amp; QA Policy &amp; procedures, as well as all other regulatory and clinical and medical standards.</li>
<li>Ensure all required detox services and protocols are met and delivered in a timely manner and pursuant to regulatory standards and requirements.</li>
<li>Creates and supports interpersonal relationships and promotes a positive, professional, team-oriented, harassment free work environment by understanding and complying with the companys policies.</li>
<li>Work in conjunction with contracted pharmacy and staff regarding medication oversight and compliance to medication standards.</li>
<li>Oversee management of supply inventory, ensuring PAR levels are accurate for volumes.</li>

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:

Key Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

<li>Develop and implement tools to regularly assess key competencies of the nursing and medical assistant staff. Coordinates and participates in training initiatives including orientation, annual competency assessment and continuing education programs. As well as implement training initiatives through coaching of staff and performance monitoring</li>
<li>Working with DON to plan, implement and evaluate quality improvement activities</li>
<li>Reviews medical assistants and nurses’ documentation regularly to ensure proper provision of/documentation of care</li>
<li>Design, evaluate and monitor practice workflows including providing guidance to staff in meeting productivity goals</li>
<li>Oversees supply and inventory of vaccines, medications and nursing supplies, including emergency medications/equipment</li>
<li>Provides clinical coverage at any of the clinical sites as needed </li>
<li>In collaboration with the Director of Nursing hiring, orienting, evaluating and disciplining medical assistants and nursing staffing as needed</li>
<li>Manages personnel budget including payroll variances</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>

Requirements:
<ul>
<li> RN with current Massachusetts license, BSN -preferred</li>
<li> 1-3 years of clinical and programmatic experience needed</li>
<li>At least one year of Management or supervisory experience required</li>
<li>Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with commitment to establishing a safe and respectful environment for team members</li>
<li> Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment</li>
<li>High level of commitment to continuous improvement in the quest for comprehensive and quality health care</li>
<li> Strong skills in prioritizing and multi-tasking as well as attention to detail</li>
