Planned Parenthood Northern California (PPNorCal) is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician for our Redding and Chico Health Centers. This position would be based mainly at our Redding Health Center but would travel to Chico and neighboring Health Centers. The position is full-time, 32 hours per week. SUMMARY 
The Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Certified Nurse Midwife, and other licensed providers) will function as part of a healthcare team to provide care under the medical supervision of the Medical Director in accordance with PPFA and PPNorCal Medical Standards and Guidelines and all relevant federal, state, and local regulations. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
HEALTH CENTER
Work in the health center providing comprehensive clinical sexual and reproductive health care services to all patients in accordance with evidence-based practice protocols. 
Utilize knowledge of and experience in patient care to: 
<ul>
<li>Obtain a basic health history and comprehensive gynecological (GYN) history. </li>
<li>Perform a general physical exam, breast exam, GYN exam, and male genitourinary exam. </li>
<li>Recognize common breast and GYN deviations from normal and provide management or referral as appropriate. </li>
<li>Recognize common non-GYN deviations from normal and provide management or referral as appropriate. </li>
<li>Provide preventive care, including screening for breast and cervical cancers. </li>
<li>Obtain and interpret laboratory tests and results related to GYN visits. </li>
<li>Perform and interpret transvaginal and abdominal ultrasounds. </li>
<li>Screen for contraindications and special conditions to contraceptive methods. </li>
<li>Provide appropriate contraception to patients, including intrauterine contraceptives (IUCs) and implants. </li>
<li>Test and treat STI’s and other infectious conditions. </li>
<li>Provide PrEP and nPEP to prevent HIV infection. </li>
<li>Provide care across the reproductive health lifespan, including basic infertility services and menopause management. </li>
<li>Provide medication abortion, early pregnancy complication management, and other special services as appropriate by licensure. </li>
<li>Assess and manage complications from in-clinic abortion, medication abortion, and vasectomy. Depending on location may support in-clinic abortion clinic. </li>
<li>Provide care for patients of all gender identities, including gender-affirming care. </li>
<li>Construct an accurate assessment and treatment plan based on history, exam, and lab findings. </li>
<li>Provide patient with general reproductive health maintenance, education, and counseling. </li>
<li>Ensure complete and accurate medical documentation in EHR application and bill and code patient visits appropriately. </li>
<li>Function as a medical resource for health center staff.</li>
<li>Participate in health center efforts to achieve established goals for productivity, with the minimum goal of 3.0 encounters per hour. </li>
<li>Participate in research studies conducted in the health center.</li>

Job DescriptionOverview 
Up to $125,000 in sign on bonus, Up to $100,000 student loan repayment (plus $85,000 in sign on), and qualifies for $300,000 in state loan repayment programs! Medical Group - North State is a premier 60+ provider multi-specialty group in Northern California. We are aligned with the largest hospital provider in California. We are recruiting an additional OB/GYN who would develop a full scope practice in Red Bluff and Corning, CA.

Responsibilities 
Patient Care:

Documentation:

Diagnostic Procedures:

<li>Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.</li>
<li>Perform procedures as needed</li>
<li>Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.</li>
</ul>
Team Collaboration:

<li>Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.</li>
<li>Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.</li>
<li>Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.</li>

Quality Improvement:
