Position Summary
We’re looking for hands-on problem solvers who take pride in making repairs that last. In this role, you’ll work across a variety of maintenance tasks including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and grounds care. You’ll help us prevent downtime, extend equipment life, and keep our facilities in top shape.
 Key Responsibilities

<li>Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery, equipment, and facility systems</li>
<li>Perform preventative maintenance on motors, conveyors, HVAC units, and pneumatic systems</li>
<li>Weld, fabricate, and repair metal parts using MIG, TIG, or stick welding</li>
<li>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams</li>
<li>Replace defective parts, belts, bearings, switches, and motors</li>
<li>Route, bend, and connect electrical conduit; size loads from panels (120–480V single and three phase)</li>

<li>Maintain cleanliness and safe operation of work areas, tools, and equipment</li>
<li>For the grounds keeping role, perform landscaping, snow removal, and general exterior upkeep</li>

Required Qualifications

<li>General maintenance experience, open to junior-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude</li>
<li>At least 1 year of hands-on experience in any of the following: welding, HVAC, electrical, pneumatics, conveyor or motor troubleshooting, blueprint/schematic reading, or preventative maintenance scheduling</li>
<li>Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment</li>
<li>Familiarity with basic safety programs such as Lockout/Tagout </li>
</ul>

Position Summary:
The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all building systems and equipment within the facility. This role supports our HUD apartment buildings, office locations, and LSS program sites throughout the Milwaukee Area. This is a full-time, benefit eligible role with a somewhat flexible schedule with hours between 7AM - 5 PM with rotating on call. The role will provide maintenance to a building located at 7500 N. Granville in Milwaukee along with other opportunities.
The Maintenance Technician maintains the physical assets of the properties. Under supervision, performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance functions , monitors to assure safe working conditions, performs repairs, documents work completed and makes purchases.

Will enter client’s dwellings or programs and be exposed to smoke and common household allergens such as dust, mildew and pets. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. TRAVEL: Ability to travel on day trips as required. Some overnight travel may be required.
