Job overview:
Lakeview Rock Products is seeking to add to our Scale House Clerk team in our North Salt Lake, UT location. This is a full-time position, with overtime required most of the year. However, this position is light duty and great for someone that likes to work alone, can handle very fast pasted environment, but is also content with it being slow and quiet from time to time. Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Greet customers entering the pit area and collect appropriate information to properly bill customers</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Handle cash and card transactions, working closely with our accounting department</li>
<li>Provide clear directions and answer customer questions</li>
<li>Answer inbound calls</li>
<li>Operate material scales</li>
<li>Maintain a clean work area and ensure incoming material is properly manifested</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Prior Scale House experience a plus but not required </li>
<li>Excellent customer service skills</li>
<li>Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision</li>
<li>Attention to detail and safety consciousness</li>

The Scale House Attendant will be responsible for weighing incoming and outgoing vehicles, collecting fees, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the scale house.  Liberty Tire Recycling is looking for a Scale Clerk. The employee in this position Performs administrative and office support activities for multiple positions. Duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, filing, and faxing. Software skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication skills. This position is responsible for weighing semi-trucks in and out. This position will be responsible for providing backup support for Transportation (Dispatch), Quality Control, and General Office in answering phone calls and assisting with increased workloads for the site at our Des Moines, IA. facility.
Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Answering phone calls and directing calls accordingly</li>

<li>Provide support and backup for dispatchers</li>
<li>Provide support to inbound/outbound sales representatives to ensure accuracy.</li>

Job Description Avondale Global Gateway is a 254-acre former shipyard on Mile 108 of the Mississippi River, redeveloped into a multimodal logistics terminal with significant warehousing and storage capabilities. T. Parker Host acquired Avondale in 2018 from Huntington Ingalls Industries and has since reestablished its iconic prominence into a model of ingenuity. Avondale Global Gateway is a historic property with four docks and over one mile of waterfront, uniquely accommodating ships, barges, rail and trucks. This facility offers immediate access to the regional and interstate highway system and is positioned at the interchange of six Class I railroads, creating the ability for cargo to be distributed in all directions.

Position Summary: The Operations Clerk will be working with a myriad of personalities in a fast-paced in and outside environment where daily activities will vary widely at our Avondale location. The Clerk will be responsible for verifying and maintaining accurate records for incoming and outgoing shipments supporting the Traffic and Operations department. The Clerk will also work closely with the operations and customer service departments to ensure customer satisfaction and validate physical cargoes via all different modes of transport.
In this position, the team member could also be responsible for overseeing trucks as they enter the facility while recording all necessary data accurately and efficiently within the scale house as required.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

<li>Examine cargo and compare with records, such as manifests, work orders, bills of lading, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.</li>
<li>Physically inspect the goods, verify, validate (scanning as necessary)</li>
<li>Prepare or execute documents, such as work orders, work logs, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.</li>
<li>Understand shipping methods for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and methodologies.</li>
<li>Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.</li>
<li>Work with the customer service team to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.</li>
<li>Assist in stock check processes.</li>
<li>Guards entrance gate of industrial facility</li>
<li>Answering phones to customers and drivers in the scale house as required</li>
<li>Opens gate to allow entrance or exit of employees, trucks, and authorized visitors</li>
