The ideal candidate will work closely with the firm’s clients, administrative staff, and senior partners. $100,000 - $150,000 yearly depending on experience
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Preside over paralegals, administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings and completing client projects </li>
<li>Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions</li>
<li>Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks </li>
<li>Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence</li>
<li>Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolution</li>
<li>Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings</li>
<li>Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action</li>
</ul>

<li>Handle personal injury cases from initial intake through settlement, ensuring each client receives exceptional representation</li>
<li>Evaluate liability, damages, and insurance coverage to determine case value and strategy</li>
<li>Oversee and guide case managers throughout the life of the case</li>
<li>Review medical records and bills, and craft persuasive demand letters</li>
<li>Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and other opposing parties</li>
<li>Communicate consistently and compassionately with clients</li>
<li>Maintain accurate case documentation and uphold firm standards for excellence</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 1-2 years required</li>
<li>Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required </li>
<li>Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary</li>
<li>Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experience</li>
<li>Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision</li>
<li>Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred </li>
