The USU Department of Medical and Clinical Psychology (MPS), F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine (SOM), in Bethesda, Maryland, invites applicants for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure-eligible track). MPS has a doctoral program in Clinical Psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association. Duties:&nbsp;The incumbent will serve as an Assistant or Associate Professor in MPS, and as such, will be responsible for teaching MPS graduate-level courses in areas of major expertise, mentoring military and/or civilian doctoral students, overseeing thesis and dissertation studies, and providing lectures to medical and graduate students as needed. The incumbent will engage in programmatic research with the expectation to develop a nationally visible, extramurally supported program of research in support of USU and/or the DoD mission. Qualification Requirements: Requires a minimum of an earned Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, or relevant psychology field from an accredited university or institution; experience in graduate-level teaching and mentorship, curriculum design, and research; demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations in an inclusive manner; exceptional interpersonal skills; outstanding written and oral communication skills; academic accomplishments, reflected by scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals appropriate to the academic rank; and active membership and involvement in scholarly societies.
The successful candidate must be academically qualified for a faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in accordance with SOM and USU academic policies.

The Position: The Vice President for Finance and Administration/CFO (VPFA) reports directly to the President and is a key member of the President's leadership team. Responsibilities: Strategy and Financial Leadership:

<li>Serve as a member of the President’s Cabinet and advise the President and other key members of the leadership team on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters.</li>
<li>In collaboration with the President and administration develop new revenue sources to support the mission of the College.</li>

Operations:

<li>Partner with the President of the College and the Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing in developing strategies that work to increase undergraduate net tuition revenue.</li>

<li>Direct and manage the assets of the College and develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the College.</li>
<li>Guide annual budgeting process and produce financial, expense and budgeting reports.</li>
<li>Arrange for the preparation of the audited financial reports by external auditors.</li>
<li>Oversee the management of Information Technology, including critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise data and intelligence, computing hardware and software, and instructional technology.</li>
<li>Oversee the management of facilities including new construction, renovation, and non-routine maintenance.</li>
<li>Maintain oversight of Risk Management and Property Insurance and collaborate with Human Resources on the financial oversight of other insurance (including health, life, dental).</li>

Fundraising and Endowment:
<ul>
<li>Oversee endowment investments as prescribed by the Investment Committee of the Board and advise the President and key stakeholders, including administration, on strategic use of endowment funds.</li>
<li>Partner with the Vice President of Advancement to ensure effective stewardship of gifts to the College.</li>
<li>Represent the College externally as needed, especially in banking and lease negotiations. Manage bond indebtedness and banking and auditing relationships.</li>

Staff Supervision and Development:

<li>Promote a culture of high performance and develop staff using a supportive, collaborative and data-driven approach.</li>
<li>Ensure all staff are customer-focused in their dealings with students, faculty, staff and others.</li>

Leadership &amp; Governance Dr. Damián J. Fernández is the 10th president of Warren Wilson College, assuming leadership on June 1, 2023.
A Cuban immigrant and first-generation college student who grew up in Puerto Rico, Fernández comes to Warren Wilson with more than 30 years of experience in teaching and leadership positions at both private and public institutions.

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Grant Writer, who will be responsible for expanding the portfolio and revenue generation of both foundation donor partners for Autism Speaks (private, public, corporate foundations) and U.S. governmental partners (state, federal) and cultivate relationships with current and potential funders. This position requires strong writing and organizational skills to support the growth of the portfolio, increase the number and size of LOI’s, proposals, and grant applications, and increase the pool of successful closes resulting in foundation and government grant revenue that grows significantly over time. A central focus of this position is to write proposals, applications, and LOIs (letters of intent) to support the growth of the portfolio size of active public / private foundation investors. This aspect of the role will require collaboration, strategy, and external and internal work to identify, assess, and position the organization to compete successfully for sizable grant opportunities to advance the institution’s mission priorities. In addition, this position will work closely across teams to identify, help cultivate, solicit, and steward new relationships. This foundation pipeline development effort will assist the organization in raising restricted and unrestricted revenue across teams including corporate, community engagement, and at times major gifts fields. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Foundation &amp; Government Grant Writing, Lead Generation, Cultivation, Solicitation, and Stewardship/Reporting:

Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and strategic Grant Writer/Government relations associate to lead our efforts in securing government funding and fostering relationships with governmental agencies. This role is pivotal in aligning our business objectives with public sector opportunities, ensuring compliance, and advocating for policies that support our growth and mission.
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Government Funding Acquisition: Identify, pursue, and secure government grants, contracts, and funding opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals.</li>
<li>Policy Advocacy: Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments; advocate for policies favorable to the company's interests.</li>
<li>Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key governmental officials, agencies, and industry associations.</li>

Requirements
Qualifications:

<li>Bachelor's degree or higher</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a similar role within a for-profit or non-profit organization</li>
<li>Proven track record of securing government funding and influencing public policy.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of governmental processes and regulatory environments at federal, state, and local levels.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Life Sciences experience is highly preferred but not required.</li>

POSITION SUMMARY: Working under the general direction and supervision of the Deputy Director of Development and Director of Development, the Senior Grant Writer will manage and supervise the grant writing portfolio of new or existing programs. The Senior Grant Writer will work to further CHIRLA’s mission, vision, and strategic plan; increase and diversify CHIRLA’s portfolio of grants &amp; contracts and lead a team of grant writers to research potential sources of funding to strategically support CHIRLA’s fundraising goals. The Senior Grant Writer is also responsible for the maintenance of grant and contract record keeping, strengthening and implementation of grant or contract systems, tools, &amp; procedures, and assists with other development and fundraising activities. PRIMARY DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Develop an in-depth knowledge of CHIRLA’s mission, strategic plan, programs, and initiatives and ability to effectively convey this information to current and prospective funders through grant proposals and reports.</li>
<li>Increase and diversify CHIRLA’s portfolio of grants and contracts by leading weekly and monthly strategic prospecting meetings to identify and review new prospect opportunities and assign grant opportunities to grant writers.</li>
<li>Responsible for confirming eligibility for new grant and contract opportunities.</li>
<li>Leads and supports grant writer(s) to achieve fundraising goals of CHIRLA’s general programs budget, CHIRLA Action Fund general programs budget, Capital Campaign and Data Center project.</li>
<li>Write and package accurate and compelling grant proposals and reports in collaboration with program and administrative staff, in accord with grant and contract submission deadlines.</li>
<li>In collaboration with Grant Writers and Development Coordinator, maintain up-to-date and well-organized grant records in both electronic and hard copy file formats.</li>
<li>Work with the Deputy Director of Development and Director of Development to grow relationships with funding prospects for opportunities to strategically support the organization.</li>
<li>Strengthen and implement grant and contract systems and procedures to ensure timely fulfillment of deadlines including providing enough time for internal review of deadlines before submission.</li>
<li>Engage and build collaborative, positive, effective relationships with funders, community partners, and internal staff and departments.</li>
<li>Assist with the full range of fund development and related activities as requested.</li>
</ul>
 SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Required
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in related field.</li>
<li>At least five years of grant writing experience.</li>
<li>Must have strong writing skills and grant experience for private and public funders.</li>
<li>Experience working with and/or overseeing grant writers.</li>
<li>Must have the ability to work under tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environment, and be flexible when last-minute priorities arise.</li>
<li>Must be proficient with Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point and other Microsoft Suite or other software utilized by CHIRLA.</li>
<li>Knowledge of and understanding of the philanthropy sector, local, state and federal funding systems.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to work and problem-solve under pressure.</li>
<li>Must be highly organized with the ability to work independently and multi-task.</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness.</li>
