<li>Using a pharmacy computer program, retrieves drug-specific technical data and information necessary for the completion of departmental and interdepartmental pharmacy-related functions and operations.</li>
<li>Assists with resolution of provider and member pharmacy issues requiring specialized technical and professional knowledge and expertise, including pharmacy authorizations.</li>
<li>Supports the department with claims disputes between providing pharmacies, the pharmacy claims administrator, CalOptima Health Claims Department and other entities as necessary.</li>
<li>Interprets and articulates Pharmacy Management program policies and procedures to pharmacy providers, other providers, other CalOptima Health staff, external agencies and others as required.</li>
<li>Assists in the processing of pharmaceutical prior authorization and appeals requests as per the CalOptima Health Prior Authorization Guidelines as needed.</li>
<li>Establishes and maintains key contacts both internally and externally to assure appropriate coordination and provision of pharmacy services to CalOptima Health Members.</li>
<li>Accepts referrals from Member Services and work in conjunction with employees from this department to resolve all pharmacy-related member complaints, including those related to the pharmacy authorization process.</li>
<li>Assists pharmacies and health plans in resolving member-specific pharmacy services access issues, removing barriers to access to pharmaceutical services.</li>
<li>Identifies pharmacy-related resources and recommend new procedures, processes or activities that help assure the efficient provision of pharmacy services to members. </li>

The Department of Biology at California State University San Bernardino invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Biology with research expertise in organismal plant biology with an emphasis on structure and function to begin August 2024. The successful candidate will develop an independent research program, as well as design and teach lecture and laboratory courses in subjects like comparative plant morphology, plant physiology, local flora, plant biology and diversity, or plant development. The successful candidate will be expected to apply for extramural funding, conduct and publish research in organismal plant biology with an emphasis on structure and function, applying laboratory and/ or field research involving undergraduate and Master’s students. In addition, the successful candidate will contribute to service and shared governance to the department, college, and university. Moreover, the successful candidate will preferably take over the role of the CSUSB herbarium curator. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in biology or related field; postdoctoral experience is highly desired.

The Department of Biology has 17 tenure-track/tenured faculty with a variety of research interests, as well as lecturers and technicians who provide pivotal support. We are seeking a Field Technician to support fieldwork activities in our growing Site Assessment and Remediation practice. This position is based in our New York City Office. Job Responsibilities:

<li>Execution and/or supervision of field aspects of environmental monitoring, site assessment, and remediation including:
<ul>
<li>Remedial excavation oversight (often at NYC construction sites)</li>
<li>Community air monitoring with roving and fixed stations.</li>
<li>Supervising subcontractors.</li>
<li>Installation and operations and maintenance of soil vapor extraction and sub-slab depressurization systems, and other mechanical remediation systems.</li>

Job Duties
Responsibilities will include performing field activities (e.g., site visits, sampling, inspections), task management, research, analysis and interpretation of analytical results and field-collected data, working on assignments with project managers and fellow team members, and coordinating with various subject matter experts.
