About the Role
Project Manager to supervise and coordinate the safe, on-time, on-budget completion of mechanical construction projects. You'll own planning, scheduling, cost control, and labor relations, while building strong client relationships and mentoring Project Engineers. The role offers a high degree of autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and billing schedules
- Coordinate pre-construction meetings and job walks
- Produce subcontracts and POs
- Negotiate with GCs and clients
- Issue RFIs and cost change orders
- Apply LEAN principles and support BIM coordination and commissioning
- Review owner contracts; coordinate trainings
- Manage and mentor Project Engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5+ years in construction project engineering/management
- 3+ years in mechanical construction strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, business acumen, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage field crews and resolve conflict across diverse teams
Work Environment: Office and construction field settings; may involve site walks, stairs, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
