This assignment relies on weekly overtime. The amount of required overtime varies from week to week. Looking for candidates with good attendance, reliability, a good work ethic, and someone who is enthusiastic This is an active work environment - candidates will be on their feet, position is simple but requires standing, walking, etc. throughout the shift. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments
- Verify accuracy of received items against purchase orders or invoices
- Unpack and properly store incoming inventoryPrepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Pick and pack orders for shipment
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and update system records
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with order picking, order fulfillment, and basic math skills
- Experience using RF scanners to track inventory is a plus
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and processes is beneficial
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an efficient warehouse layout
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and vendors
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods of time
