About the Role:

The HR Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining a productive and positive workplace environment within the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing all human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. The HR Manager will lead initiatives to develop and implement policies that support organizational goals and foster employee engagement and retention. They will act as a strategic partner to leadership, providing insights and guidance on workforce planning and organizational development. Ultimately, the HR Manager ensures that the company attracts, develops, and retains top talent while maintaining a culture of fairness, respect, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the United States.
  • Proven experience with recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or multi-location organization.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and applicant tracking systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and development initiatives.
  • Advanced degree in Human Resources or related discipline.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract qualified candidates and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Oversee employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Administer performance management systems, including goal setting, evaluations, and professional development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and equity.
  • Lead HR projects and initiatives that support organizational change and growth.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support organizational culture and employee engagement efforts.
