The Director isresponsible for promoting a comprehensive and sustainable eSportsprogram that combines high-level competition against other eliteuniversities; recruitment of academically eligible elite gamers;the operations of a training facility and arena; engagement withfaculty to explore research opportunities related to video games;support of the UAlbany gaming community and addressing socialjustice issues related to games and eSports.
