DESCRIPTION:
Support the Government in developing a comprehensive understanding of potential adversaries’ strategic weapons via Spatial Analysis and Support. The contractor will provide cartographic and spatial analytic support to USSTRATCOM J2 and employ GIS expertise to identify, analyze, and depict intelligence issues spatially. The findings will be incorporated into existing USSTRATCOM workflow processes as requested by the Government. The analysts will also have experience with the installation, configuration, operation, and limitations of the ArcGIS Enterprise. Job Requirements/Required Skills:

<li>All contractors will individually demonstrate proficiency in ArcGIS Enterprise Portal, ArcGIS Pro, GeoEvent Server, ArcPy, and Python scripting. The contractor will possess experience with DoD IT security standards (e.g., DISA STIGs, FedRAMP) and demonstrate relevant experience in spatial databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server).</li>

The Director of Scientific Publications is responsible for providing leadership and expertise in all areas of digital and print scientific publishing, focusing on The Journal of Neuroscience and eNeuro. This person plays a key role in exploring such emerging issues as open access and open science, data sharing, and the convergence of publishing of scholarly information in online journals, databases, and Web resources. 
 The director oversees editorial and production operations related to the weekly production of JNeurosci and continuous publication of eNeuro, ensuring efficient and smooth operations that serve the needs of the Editor-in-Chief, editorial board, and authors. The director will facilitate the work of the Scientific Publications Committee in its work of advising and guiding the Society’s publishing efforts. Additionally, the director will work to ensure effective communications with SfN members and prospective authors and to monitor trends and opportunities that allow SfN to maintain its forward-looking role in scholarly scientific journal publishing.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
