Job Description
The hospice aide is a paraprofessional member of the interdisciplinary group who works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient's personal needs and to promote comfort. The hospice aide is responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care performed.
The hospice aide will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity and safety of a patient's care.
Responsibilities of the hospice aide include, but are not limited to, the following:
1.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Performing personal care needs after given a patient's assignment and attending to his/her requests promptly. &nbsp;If unable to perform a certain task, report to the Case Manager immediately.
2.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Meeting safety needs of patient and using equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, O2 etc.)
3.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Giving personal care including baths, backrubs, oral hygiene, shampoo, and changing bed linen as often as assigned.
4.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Assisting in dressing and undressing patients as assigned.
5.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Planning and preparing nutritious meals, including shopping, as assigned.
6.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Assisting in feeding the patient as assigned.
7.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Taking and recording oral, rectal and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure when ordered with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency.
8.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Providing proper care and observation of patient's skin to prevent breakdown of tissue over bony prominence.
9.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Reporting on patient's condition and significant changes to the Case Manager. &nbsp; Also aware of the caregiver or other individuals living with the patient and interpersonal issues.
10.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Assisting in ambulation and exercise as instructed by the hospice nurse or therapist
11.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Offering and assisting with bedpans and urinals. &nbsp;Providing assistance as assigned with light laundry needs.
12.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Performing range of motion and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency.

Además, el Optómetra prescribe lentes con o sin foco, o cristales oftálmicos, lentes de contacto, prismas, ejercicios musculares, ortóptica, terapia visual, fototerapia, cromoterapia y visión subnormal, así como cualquier principio, sustancia, método o aparato legítimo para atención, tratamiento o corrección de dichas deficiencias y la confección y dispendio de artefactos correctivos o protésicos para la corrección de defectos y desórdenes oculares.

Position Description:
We are a well-established market leader in the immune monitoring field seeking a highly reliable Building Maintenance Technician with versatility to join our Facilities Maintenance team. Under the direction of the Building Managers, the Building Maintenance Technician will assist with ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of three buildings, both inside and out. The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional knowledge of maintenance and attention to detail helping to maintain the CTL buildings and properties.
As the Building Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the following:
<ul>
<li>Performing quality checks on air conditioning, heating systems, plumbing and electrical systems</li>
<li>Replacing light bulbs and repairing light fixtures as needed</li>
<li>Changing furnace and air conditioner filters and belts; oils furnace and air conditioner</li>
<li>Keeping maintenance area adequately stocked with tools and supplies</li>
<li>Maintaining high customer satisfaction and promptly addressing customer needs</li>
<li>Inspections and reporting deficiencies to the appropriate personnel, as well as monitoring the progress of repairs and improvements</li>
<li>During the winter, their duties expand to include daily checks of outdoor walkways for snow and ice clearance to ensure safety</li>
<li>Removing snow from walkways using snow blower, broom, or shovel and salting walkways</li>
<li>Oversee the cleanliness of main entrances, making sure the entrances are mopped daily, free of snow and slush that may have been tracked in by employees</li>
<li>Ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of three buildings, both inside and out</li>
<li>Caring for indoor plants, contributing to a pleasant and inviting work environment</li>
<li>Taking charge of post-party cleanups and meeting room organization</li>
<li>Maintaining the coffee stations, ensuring mugs are cleaned and replenishing supplies of coffee, milk, and sugar</li>
</ul>
Position Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Minimum of three years of experience in Maintenance or related field</li>
<li>High school diploma required</li>
<li>Minimum of 4 years of experience in framing, drywall, flooring, and painting</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years of general maintenance experience</li>
<li>Minimum knowledge of commercial generators and elevators</li>
<li>Experience in plumbing and electrical work according to commercial code.</li>
<li>Knowledge of HVAC systems and commercial boilers.</li>
<li>Technical Training or Certificates in electrical, plumbing HVAC maintenance</li>
<li>Class B, Commercial Driver’s License</li>
<li>Tow Motor License preferred; but not required</li>
<li>Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis</li>
<li>Basic math skills</li>
<li>Familiarity with dry and wet sprinkler systems.</li>
<li>Experience with fire and security systems</li>
<li>Ability to operate and maintain a heavy-duty plow truck</li>
<li>Capable of lifting a minimum of 55 lbs.</li>
<li>Knowledge of general OSHA regulations.</li>
<li>Ability to perform tasks under adverse weather conditions</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software</li>
