We primarily serve NE ND and NW MN but have also done work across the state of ND. We have continued to grow our client base and projects over the past 28 years, striving to provide the most accurate and quality services for our clients. We are a small company where every employee plays an important role. We design open channel drains and have helped create 30 assessment drains in northeastern ND. The advantage of working for a small firm is you get to take a project from conception to construction. In addition, we do other engineering projects such as site design and layout for convenience stores, agricultural facilities and commercial buildings.

Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities

<li>Manage small to mid-size projects, client and contractor agreements and budgets.</li>
<li>Effectively write and prepare technical engineering reports, plans and specifications for construction projects.</li>
<li>Assist in field operations as needed; this may include construction inspection, survey and other forms of field engineering. Oversee construction activities and compliance with construction documents.</li>
<li>Consult with clients and contractors to plan and develop strategies for their civil engineering design and support needs. Provide general oversight with contractors and sub-contractors.</li>

Description of Job:
As a Production Engineer Intern at Valent BioSciences you will learn and be exposed to various engineering tasks, such as monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving current fermentation, recovery, and formulation processes. You will be assigned a product with particular emphasis on optimization to increase yield and reduce cycle times, while focusing on safety and environmental impact. You will collaborate with Research and Development Scientists as well as Production Engineers to determine feasibility of their proposed methods and will be required to work in the lab to help develop and optimize the process, write/update operating instructions and then if successful in the lab help with implementing the method in production. In addition, you will be exposed to good laboratory practices while using the lab fermentors and recovery equipment and documenting the experiments. You will be required to write a project charter, all applicable protocols and procedures, and if successful, provide a final method transfer report. 
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Under the supervision of the Production Engineering Team track and trend yield and quality data for each batch for all products to identify and eliminate special cause variation and recommend continuous improvement projects.</li>

<li>Identify, develop and implement creative practical solutions to improve the economics of the fermentation, recovery and formulation processes.</li>

<li>Write, update and maintain production master batch records, work instructions and other standard operating procedures and training manuals.</li>
<li>Proactively identify problems and develop solutions to improve manufacturing operations and safety</li>

Job DescriptionSalary: $13+ 
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Treat all individuals with dignity and respect while maintaining agency standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and objectivity. 
2. Provide oversight of the full day and primary residential programs. 
3. Provide therapeutic conditions of warmth, genuineness, empathy, respect, dignity, and direction to all patients. 
4. Perform orientation for new admissions, as required by the unit coordinator. 
5. Maintain/Assist all confidentiality requirements and regulations as outlined in CARF policies and procedures. 
6. Successfully complete Peer Recovery Coach training within the first year of hire. 
7. Maintain/Assist lecture schedule. 
8. Assist clinical and administrative staff, as required. 
9. Provide reinforcement of monitoring of patients behavioral expectations related to treatment planning. 
10. Enforce all residential policies and regulations and report violations to the clinical staff. 
11. Help assign supervised residential maintenance activities. 
12. Assist in ordering supplies and materials for the residential program. 
13. Answer telephone and maintain necessary consultation with on-call Clinician. 
14. Attend appropriate staff and training sessions. 
15. Attend all Clinical Assistant meetings and other meetings as required. 
16. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the Electronic Health Record, CARF policies, Feedback Informed Treatment, Nurtured Heart Approach, licensure standards and other parts of Prairie Ridge processes as needed. 
17. Provide various maintenance functions as assigned. 
18. Be certified in First Aid and CPR bi-annually. 
19. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. 
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS
 
1. Understanding of the field of behavioral health issues is required. 
2. Understanding of the mission of Prairie Ridge and patients we work with. 
3. Proficiency in oral and written communication skills. 
4. Ability to work directly with patients and provide accurate verbal and written reports to clinical staff. 
5. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is often required to stand, reach with hands and arms, and climb or balance. 
6. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or more up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
