PREREQUISITES
Education: Some high school or equivalent

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS&nbsp;
Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.&nbsp;
 
Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.&nbsp;

The Assistant General Manager will work with a passionate team of Front of the House team members on an opening, mid or closing shift dedicated to the overall guest experience. In the absence of the GM, the AGM will assume all GM responsibilities. The AGM will work side by side with the front-of-the house team by leading and inspiring them to exceed our guest’s expectations at every opportunity. This will be achieved by providing exceptional service that is authentic, genuine, warm and welcoming while upholding the execution of Tatte service and product standards.
 Summary of Responsibilities

<li>Supports the GM in ownership of the business and ensuring that the day to day operations run smoothly </li>
<li>Models authentic, warm guest experience and instills great service in team </li>
<li>Successfully identifies individuals that embody Tatte’s cultural values and supports recruiting, hiring, and training of new talent to ensure outstanding guest service </li>
<li>Demonstrates people performance management skills with the ability to identify talent and develop managers and hourly team members</li>
<li>Possesses capability to lead and navigate hard conversations </li>
<li>Continuously upholds Tatte brand and visual standards </li>
<li>Leads team members through effective and efficient operational execution</li>
<li>Ensures Food Safety in the café </li>
<li>Supports the GM in café-level change management activities to ensure effective and accurate communication of new product, service and operational information </li>
<li>Contributes to food, labor and controllable costs that are consistently within company guardrails </li>
<li>Helps GM to own café administrative requirements </li>

Working Conditions / Essential Functions
<ul>
<li>Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs (including but not limited to, days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and as emergencies arise)</li>
<li>Able to work ten hour-plus shifts, plus ability to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs, and read </li>
<li>Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds. </li>

Position Requirements
<ul>
<li>Minimum 1 year of experience working as a manager, preferably in a high-volume, full service and/or polished fast casual restaurant </li>
<li>Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing work environment </li>

<li>High integrity and professionalism </li>

As a Community Manager, you will:

<li>Manage and deposit daily collection of all monthly rentals, late fees, etc.&nbsp; </li>
<li>Pursue delinquent rents and perform evictions within State and landlord laws and attend court proceedings as required.</li>
<li>Hire, train, motivate and manage onsite staff to ensure deadlines are met.&nbsp; Administer discipline with proper documentation. </li>

<li>Inspect the community grounds and community-owned homes to maintain a presentable appearance.</li>

<li>Process, approve, and forward invoices in a timely manner to the Corporate Office; maintain petty cash; keep track of all expenses and receipts.</li>
<li>Maintain employees’ files, timesheets, and records to coordinate accurate compensation and benefits.&nbsp; </li>
<li>Analyze and audit daily, weekly, and monthly reports and address any issues or incorrect information. </li>
<li>Manage accidents, emergency situations, and immediate mechanical needs; report to the corporate office immediately and prepare the proper reports.&nbsp; At times this will require the Community Manager’s availability outside of normal work hours.</li>
<li>Manage the process of refurbishing community-owned homes.</li>
<li>Remain aware of safety issues and administer constant corrective measures to ensure a safe working and living environment for all residents and team members.</li>
<li>Build relationships with residents and respond to all needs.</li>

<li>2-3 years of property management experience with proven management skills.</li>
<li>Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Detailed-orientated and the ability to multitask and problem solve.</li>
<li>Proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel and Outlook; MRI experience preferred</li>
<li>Ability to be flexible and work evenings and weekends</li>
<li>Proven leadership skills and the ability to be a team player in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Valid operator’s license, maintenance of a good driving record at all times, and insurability under the Company’s policy at all times and the ability to commute between communities.</li>
