Northwest Acute Care Specialists, P.C. (NACS) is an independent emergency medicine and ambulatory care practice group that contracts exclusively with Legacy Health to provide emergency medicine and urgent care professional services.
 
Job Summary
The APP is an integral part of the Emergency Medical team and assists the flow and direct care of the patients within the Emergency Department. They can either be a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).
 
Our EDs are staffed at all times by a Board-Certified Emergency Physicians. Our APPs are an important member of the Emergency Department team and must have the ability to function efficiently, at times independently without direct supervision, and collectively within the team setting is a must.
 
NACS APPs are required to comply within their scope of practice, hospital credentials, other laws, regulations, NACS policy, and other applicable professional standards of practice.
 
Qualifications

Assistant Position Summary:
 
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for participating as part of a cohesive teaching team, assisting the Lead Teacher in coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Whats the Opportunity?
Anchor QEA is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial minded engineer with a strong reputation in the Pacific Northwest to lead impactful restoration projects and initiatives. The successful candidate will leverage their established relationships with municipalities, state or federal agencies, tribal members, non-governmental entities and funding bodies to position Anchor QEA and our clients for success on competitive projects, including those supported by Floodplains by Design and Salmon Recovery Fund grants.
 
Anchor QEA delivers innovative projects across Washington and nationwide, including marsh and estuary restoration, riverine and stream restoration, compensatory mitigation, fish passage, living shorelines and engineering with nature and nature-based solutions. This role will strengthen our presence in restoration markets and include leading complex projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver multi-benefit outcomes, securing and managing grant-funded efforts, and expanding our partnerships with governmental, tribal, and non-governmental entities.

Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Project Management: Lead and manage multi-stakeholder restoration projects from planning through implementation, ensuring timely completion within budget and compliance with regulatory standards.</li>
<li>Technical Expertise: Provide expert technical guidance on restoration engineering principles, to help guide the assessment, design, and implementation of process-based habitat restoration projects in riverine, coastal and estuary environments.</li>
<li>Design and Analysis: Leads engineering planning and design including, but not limited to, concept designs, alternative studies, basis of design requirements, construction drawings, technical reports and specifications, and construction cost estimates.</li>
<li>Business Development: Position for and win multi-disciplinary projects with a focus on sustainable and resilient restoration solutions either as part of a larger team or as the prime contractor. This would be accomplished through leveraging existing relationships, serving as a visible leader in professional organizations, developing new clients, identifying project opportunities, leading proposal efforts, and capturing new work.</li>
<li>Funding and Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, funding proposals, and grant applications to secure financing for restoration initiatives.</li>
<li>Research and Development: Stay informed about the latest developments in engineering technology and practices.</li>
<li>Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior to senior engineers and technical staff, providing training and support to enhance their professional development.</li>

What Are We Looking For?
Ideal candidates will have the following:

<li>BS or MS degree in relevant field (e.g., Civil, Hydraulic, or Water Resources Engineering)</li>
<li>15 or more years of experience in river or estuary restoration engineering or equivalent, with a strong record of leadership in Washington or Pacific Northwest restoration projects</li>
<li>Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington or Oregon</li>
<li>Ability to integrate process-based restoration and river or coastal engineering principles into engineering designs, including hydraulic, large wood stability, and sediment transport or drift analysis, cost estimating, and development of plans and technical specifications</li>
<li>Proven experience in managing complex projects, including familiarity with project management tools, developing and managing scopes, budgets, schedules, and subconsultants</li>
<li>Proven leadership in business development activities.</li>
<li>Demonstrated success in securing large-scale resilience and restoration funding</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences</li>

Our ice cream sandwiches are truly handmade, and that's where you fit in. We hand-squish, and manually process thousands of ice cream sandwiches a day at our production HQ and are seeking new, energetic, culturally fit staff to add to our already amazing ice cream sandwich production team!

The schedule for this position is 6:00AM - 4:30PM, either Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday.
