Job Essentials
* Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam. 
* Is sensitive to the patients needs throughout the procedure. Sufficiently explains to the patient and family the procedure about to be performed in order to facilitate cooperation and alleviate patient anxiety. Addresses any patient concerns. 
* Performs radiologic exams that produce quality images and ensures patient and staff safety. Accomplishes this by following proper protocols, correct patient positioning, appropriate and effective use of equipment, and adherence to radiation protection and guidelines. 
* Utilizes sterile technique when performing invasive procedures. 
* Recognizes emergent patient situations and responds quickly and appropriately. 
* Thoroughly and accurately completes all required documentation, including time stamps and image storage. 
* Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other patient care providers following procedure. 
* Maintains a clean, neat, and safe environment for patients and staff. Ensures that supplies and equipment are stored in an organized and efficient manner. 
* Pursues individual education and career development opportunities, emphasizing those for new procedures and equipment. 
* As appropriate, assists and instructs students and other Radiology Techs in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
* ARRT registration. 
* Current Rad Tech license in state of practice (if working in Utah). 
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare providers. 
* May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire and perform the function of an MA (as required by Medical Group).

* IV certification.

We are looking for a compassionate Internist, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician, Addiction Physician or Palliative Care Physician with an interest in pain management and a bio-psycho-social approach, to join our rapidly growing practice in Victorville, CA. This position would be perfect for a physician who wishes to practice in a multi-disciplinary and holistic model of care. The schedule will be clinic-based.
The Physician will join a group of dedicated physicians, be responsible for the medical management of patients and for referrals to the transdisciplinary care model (UTC) which includes Mental Health, Physical Reconditioning and Complementary and Alternative Medicine therapies. Care will be provided to patients by the physician in collaboration with this team.

Job Duties:
· Excellent medical skills and knowledge of medical pain management. No procedural skills required.
· Provides relief from acute or chronic pain with medications, or referral to interventional techniques.
· Explains our transdisciplinary biopsychosocial model of pain management to patients
· Partners with behavioral health and physical reconditioning providers as needed to meet patient needs
. Supervises up to four nurse practitioners and physician assistants to ensure those providers are accomplishing assigned job responsibilities and appropriately identifying candidates for interventional procedures.
· Cares for a medically complex and emotionally challenging patient population that requires empathy and the ability to de-escalate.
· Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
· Upholds the company's mission, vision and values.
· Performs other duties as assigned, consistent with the above responsibilities.

Qualifications
. Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine
· Graduate of an accredited Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Addiction Medicine or Palliative Care fellowship program

San Diego's St. Paul's PACE program (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly). This innovative program is for individuals 55 years or older, who are living with chronic illness, or disabilities and need coordinated medical care to continue living as independently as possible in their home and community. This is a full time position in our El Cajon Clinic. Typical hours are 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday - Friday. 
Position Summary: Provides primary medical management in collaboration with other St. Paul's PACE Physician(s) and providers. Performs initial and semi-annual assessments and performs additional physical assessments of participants as needed and develops and implements appropriate plans of care to St. Paul's PACE program participants. Evaluates participant physical complaints and provides appropriate treatment. Provides participants and caregiver teaching and education. At the direction of the Medical Director functions 
as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT). Rounds in the St. Paul's PACE contracted nursing homes, Assisted Living facilities, Board and Care facilities and participants homes.. At the Direction of the Medical Director informs the IDT of the medical condition of each participant, remaining alert to pertinent input from other team members, participant's caregivers, as well as documenting changes in a participant's medical record consistent with documentation policies.

The PCP will adhere to strict departmental goals/objectives, standards of performance, regulatory compliance, quality patient care compliance, and policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
* The PCP independently provides care for patients with acute and chronic illnesses encountered in the older adult patient.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:
* MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics or similar specialty required 
* Must be able to obtain a State Medical License or already have a current, active State Medical License for the state(s) in which he/she will be working 
* Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics or similar specialty is preferred. Board Eligibility is required 
* Once Board certified, PCP will maintain board certification in their specialty by doing necessary MOC, CME and/or retaking board exams as required 
* Must have a current DEA number for schedule II-V controlled substances 
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AMA) or American Red Cross required w/in first 90 days of employment.

* MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics or similar specialty required 
* Must be able to obtain a State Medical License or already have a current, active State Medical License for the state(s) in which he/she will be working 
* Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics or similar specialty is preferred. Board Eligibility is required 
* Once Board certified, PCP will maintain board certification in their specialty by doing necessary MOC, CME and/or retaking board exams as required 
* Must have a current DEA number for schedule II-V controlled substances 
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AMA) or American Red Cross required w/in first 90 days of employment.
