<li>Assists workshop supervisor in any aspect of vocational training.</li>
<li>Transports individuals to and from Burton Center and on field trips.</li>
<li>Keeps a daily van maintenance sheet, mileage sheet, and accountability sheet.</li>
<li>Reports malfunctions immediately to transportation supervisor in writing.</li>
<li>Supervises individuals during preprogram breaks, lunch, and all special activities.</li>
<li>Assists with extracurricular activities.</li>
<li>Provide one on one care to individual if that level of care is required for position, following plan of care of the individual, to include, but not limited to feeding, toileting, etc.</li>
<li>Attends initial Burton Center staff orientation, in-services and workshops as appropriate to enhance job performance.</li>
<li>Administer medications if required.</li>
</ul>
 
Required Qualifications:

<li>High School Diploma or GED</li>
<li>Valid SC Driver's License</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Clear oral and written communication skills</li>
<li>Lift 25lbs frequently and 50lbs occasionally</li>
<li>Ability to care and advocate for others</li>
<li>Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and squat</li>
<li>Ability to stand or walk for long period of time</li>
<li>Ability to drive and transport individuals including wheelchair bound.</li>
