What You'll Do

<li>Lead multiple field foremen and subcontractors across framing, drywall, windows, and doors, ensuring productivity, high craftsmanship, and coordination across all self-perform activities.</li>
<li>Drive daily field operations, using your sequencing knowledge and commercial experience to keep crews moving efficiently and safely.</li>
<li>Build tight-knit working relationships with foremen, field teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders-becoming the go-to point of contact for all building-trades communication.</li>
<li>Maintain control of schedule, quality, and safety by proactively anticipating issues, solving problems in real time, and ensuring all work aligns with plans, specs, and project goals.</li>

What You Bring
<ul>
<li>5+ years as a Superintendent overseeing commercial framing and drywall operations (medium-sized projects or larger).</li>
<li>Strong technical understanding of Division 9 framing and drywall sequencing-from layout through finishes-and the ability to lead multiple crews simultaneously.</li>
<li>Demonstrated success managing field foremen, self-perform teams, and subcontractors, with a leadership style that strengthens collaboration and elevates performance.</li>
<li>Experience in construction management (scheduling, safety, quality control).</li>
<li>Background in military, government, or large commercial builds-especially Design-Build-is a major advantage.</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Primavera 3/6, Viewpoint, BIM, or Revit is a plus.</li>
<li>Required safety certifications (CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30, EM-385, STS) or willingness to obtain.</li>

SALARY &amp; BENEFITS 
Salary range: $32,000-$52,000/Per Year
Staff can also add up to an additional $2000.00 dollars to their salary by successfully passing the language proficiency assessment. $1000.00 for spoken language proficiency and $1000.00 for written language proficiency in Spanish or Amharic.
 
Salary is based on educational level, certification(s), and years of experience. The successful candidate will be contracted yearly. Employment will be renewed according to evaluations and staff interest. Child care and health savings plans, pre-tax deduction for Metro, bike racks and regular staff engagement and wellness activities. Staff lounge and lactation room for nursing mothers. Health benefits (medical &amp; dental), disability insurance, and a retirement plan: 401-(k) with a 4% match or the continuation of the DCPS retirement plan.
