Paramedics that are Crew Chiefs are responsible for following physician’s standing orders and/or the Emergency Room Physician orders. The Paramedic is responsible on a shift to shift and on-call basis for the pre-hospital and general patient care provided under the Idaho EMS guidelines and hospital policy. The areas of responsibility are divided into four functional areas:

PRE-HOSPTIAL PATIENT CARE AND TRANSPORT

<li>Provides direct patient care after evaluating the scene, by assessing the needs of individual patients, and treating the patient(s) appropriately.</li>
<li>Provides direct patient care in accordance with the laws governing Idaho Paramedic, with the standards set by the Idaho Emergency Medical Services Bureau, and the Idaho Physician Commission, Minidoka Memorial Hospital Medical Control Physicians and Minidoka Memorial Hospital Policies and Procedures manual.</li>
<li>Assures that medical treatment provided, as it relates to the pre-hospital setting and during transports is properly implemented,</li>

<li>Adheres to the criteria for use of standing written orders as set up by the Medical control Physician of Minidoka Memorial Hospital.</li>
<li>Assures that the proper communication, via two-way radio or cell phone is carried out with the Emergency Room Physician, Emergency Department, State Communication Center, other hospitals. Appropriate law enforcement agencies and/or other appropriate public service agencies and/or units.</li>
<li>Assures that the ambulance is driven at all times in a safe manner and in accordance with the laws governing the operation of Emergency Vehicles in the State of Idaho and the Emergency Driving Standards in the policy and procedures manual.</li>
<li>Assures that the ambulances are stocked, cleaned, and ready for use at all times.</li>
</ul>
 
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSIGNMENTS
<ul>
<li>Responsible to follow personnel and staffing policies as they relate to him/her.</li>
<li>Responsible to participate in evaluations pertinent to the area of practice as they relate to Quality Assurance.</li>
<li>Responsible to provide feedback to the shift supervisor on needs of the service and current program.</li>

FIRST PRIORITY IS TO THE AMBULANCE TO MAKE SURE IT IS STOCKED AND MAINTAINED.

<li>Responding to calls on the 911 pager is first priority.</li>
<li>Completes job-related duties as assigned by the department supervisor.</li>
<li>Assists nurses in taking vital signs and documentation, triage and discharging patients within the hospital.</li>
</ul>
1. Start un-medicated intravenous fluids within the hospital with accurate documentation of same, as agreed upon in the written contract between the hospital and EMS.
2. Assist in assessment of patient in the emergency department with documentation on ER records, in accordance with emergency room policies and scope of practice, e.g., information regarding complaint, vital signs, and observations, however, the RN must still make an entry in the record or his/her assessment.

<li>Transports patients by wheelchair and stretcher to and from bed, chairs, wheelchairs, and stretchers, to include Countryside. This is done in conjunction with an employee of that department.</li>
<li>Obtains supplies and equipment, etc., when under the direction of the department supervisor.</li>
<li>Reports identified intra-departmental problems to the crew chief, director, or ambulance administrative lead.</li>
<li>Assigned duties may be subject to change. All revisions will be documented in Minidoka Memorial Hospital policy and procedure manuals and copies given to all Paramedic personnel.</li>
<li>Required to be in base headquarters or within the hospital area when on duty. If duty assignment requires being outside of the hospital area, alert appropriate personnel of that location.</li>
<li>Participates as a member of the Code team in a code situation within the hospital.</li>
<li>In the event of a code in Countryside, the staff will call 911 to have Paramedic respond with ambulance and equipment need for code.</li>

UNIFORMS

<li>A uniform that is professional looking and clean will be worn while on duty in the hospital. Refer to Dress Code policy.</li>

· Assists the Physician in procuring laboratory samples, per posted laboratory protocol. 
· May assist receptionist and professional nurse in locating records and answering telephone. Gathers details of incoming patient telephone calls and thoroughly; and accurately documents all such calls in patient chart for immediate physician review. 
· Make photocopies of records for consultations or referrals as directed by supervisor. 
· Helps to maintain inventory of necessary medical/examination supplies needed for each of the examination rooms. Restocking of examination rooms (per posted inventory list) will be done on a daily basis, more frequently as needed. Monitors for and removed outdated supplies.

· Straightens up examination rooms subsequent to patient examinations. Keeps instruments clean and ready for use. Prepares packs for sterilization.

The Aftermarket Sales Representative solicit parts and service business from accounts through personal and phone contacts. The representative will develop new accounts, recover lost accounts, and manage established accounts.

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Successfully learn and sell all Aftermarket products and offerings, to include but not limited to, Parts, Service, Contract Maintenance, technology innovation products, and Rush’s RushCare offerings (Service Connect and PartsConnect).</li>
<li>Competence in systematic selling, which includes pre-call planning, investigating sales opportunities, offering Rush specific solutions, and closing business sales.</li>
<li>Call on National Accounts through various mediums, partnering closely with Rush Aftermarket National Accounts Sales Manager (RSM) to promote account programs and process.</li>
<li>Sell multiple Parts product categories and specific Service repair types.</li>
<li>Promote and sell “All Makes” Parts and Service, beyond proprietary brands.</li>
<li>Promote and sell Rush and OE special market programs.</li>
<li>Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive account specific growth strategies for all products offered.</li>
<li>Participate in company, market, or vendor driven sales blitzes, trade shows and annual job specific employee and customer events, to include periodic training and development off site.</li>
</ul>
Basic Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Prefer Bachelors’ degree from an accredited university or college. </li>
<li>Experienced in business to business sales, or within our industry preferred.</li>
<li>Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.</li>
<li>Gain literacy and competency of Microsoft Dynamics 360 (CRM) to pre-call plan, document sales strategy, manage all accounts sales activity.</li>
<li>Capable of managing an assigned Book of Business (BOB), which will include 40-50 accounts.</li>
