Roles &amp; Responsibilities

<li>Show up to work on time and sober.</li>
<li>Responsible for the working conditions of the loaders. This includes performing routine maintenance including greasing, minor servicing, maintenance, and cleaning of the loader.</li>
<li>Understand what you are stockpiling and the proper stockpiling procedure.</li>
<li>Work with the plant superintendent and operator to help with the day-to-day plant operation.</li>
<li>Maintain hopper levels to achieve maximum production.</li>
<li>Maintain stockpiles and pit floor.</li>
<li>Demonstrate the ability to operate the loader, excellent safety awareness, and a willingness to comply with company policies and safety standards.</li>
<li>Effective communication with other operators, truck drivers, and the general public.</li>
<li>Fix problem areas within the pit, such as clay spots, low spots, or rough roads.</li>
<li>Fuel your loader at the end of each day and document this on your time ticket.</li>
<li>Be mindful of wear parts on your machine and notify your supervisor of when they need to be serviced.</li>
<li>Load trucks, and keep track of who, what, and how much you loaded each day. Turn this information in with your time ticket, it is a very important part of our operation.</li>
<li>Communicate with drivers on where you want their loads dumped and modify them throughout the day.</li>
<li>Keep your loader clean, organized, and free of garbage inside the cab.</li>
<li>Help with additional work around the plant as needed.</li>

These positions will focus on reconditioning incoming trade vehicles by performing inspections, changing oil/fluids/filters/wiper blades, and performing any basic repairs that the vehicle needs upon your first look. You’ll need to be able to handle a variety of light mechanical work such as; brakes, tires, alignments, battery installs, fuel pumps, axle seals, oil cooler lines, and other similar repairs. Some light diagnostic work may also be required – but any advanced diagnostics, advanced repairs, or warranty work will be dispatched to our main shops for completion by other Techs.
We’ve designed these positions with a specific structure to deal with incoming trade inventory in a stress-free operating environment. You’ll be working in a brand-new climate-controlled facility (no matter the season!) that features new hoists, new benches, and no flat-rate work. Plus, our shops are actually a really fun place to work – with great people and full access to tech fridges/pantries filled with FREE food, snacks, and drinks while you’re on the job. 
Preferred applicants for this full-time position need to be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license &amp; an acceptable safe driving record. Above all else, you’ll need to be a positive team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow. 
This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. Overtime may be available but is not required.
