MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Allied Universal® is hiring a Lobby Supervisor. The Lobby Supervisor is responsible for the management/supervision of Lobby Receptionist personnel, providing security access control measures via lobbies, badging and special events for multiple sites for a high-profile customer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to the client. Act as a liaison between customer, Account Manager, and lobby receptionists; supervise lobby staff, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range</li>
<li>Supervise day-do-day operations at the site for Lobbies, Badge &amp; ID, Visitor Centers, and Large Events</li>
<li>Enforce Allied Universal policies as outlined in the handbooks and executive memos</li>
<li>Assist the Account Manager in identifying, meeting, and exceeding the needs of the customer</li>
<li>Meet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime</li>
<li>Coordinate and/or conduct site-specific on-the-job training (OJT), client specific training, and annual refresher training for lobby personnel</li>
<li>Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized at the account, maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists</li>
<li>Communicate staffing needs to the Account Manager or to recruiters via Requisition Form, assisting in identifying and interviewing quality candidates</li>
<li>Assure that lobby personnel receive appropriate training, developing them in both technical and professional skills; also includes performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)</li>
<li>Assist with the communication of policies, company announcements and job openings</li>
<li>Perform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders)</li>
<li>Respond to client requests</li>
<li>Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders</li>
<li>Provide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding the performance of their duties</li>
<li>Disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel</li>
<li>Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management</li>
<li>Make recommendations for physical security surveys, job safety analysis and post orders</li>
<li>Make recommendations concerning disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel assigned</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment</li>
<li>Must possess, or be able to obtain, a SECRET clearance with the Department of Defense</li>
<li>Minimum one (1) year of experience in security, law enforcement or military service</li>
<li>Must possess one or more of the following:</li>
<ul>
<li>Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard</li>
<li>Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets</li>
<li>Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry</li>
</ul>
<li>Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public</li>
<li>Effective oral and written communication skills</li>
<li>Problem solving skills</li>
<li>Active listening skills</li>
<li>Assess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately</li>

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>Possession of one or more of the following:</li>
<ul>
<li>Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone</li>
<li>Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies</li>
<li>A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch</li>
<li>Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service</li>
</ul>
