Job DescriptionAt Houston Methodist, the Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist II position is an experienced Technologist who completes a variety of routine to highly complex diagnostic Ultrasound procedures to include common and special ultrasound exams of high difficulty, including vascular ultrasound exams. This position is a member of the direct patient care team and is fully competent in all aspects of ultrasound exams. The Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist II position serves as a mentor to Ultrasound Technologist I and students by utilizing skills and knowledge to help train and educate others. This position works independently by exercising sound judgment and executing above average clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures and patient care situations. The Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist II position provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic and special ultrasound procedures. This position delivers exceptional patient care and adheres to ultrasound exam standards and guidelines established by governing agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service.PEOPLE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

<li>Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures to include common and special ultrasound exams. Also able to perform vascular ultrasound exams. Ultrasound exams use high-frequency sound waves to capture images.</li>

<li>Proactively assesses, identifies and responds to the needs of the patient for adjustment or intervention to optimize patient care, image quality and patient experience. This includes: positioning, physiology, procedure preparation, and technical factors. Modifies technical factors to achieve desired imaging results and recognizes complications and limitations associated with certain procedures.</li>

<li>Provides direct assistance to physicians during diagnostic procedures or special ultrasound procedures, including assisting with sterile technique.</li>

<li>Provides accurate explanations and instructions to patients and family members at an appropriate level utilizing verbal and non-verbal skills, terminology and language.</li>

 QUALITY/SAFETY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

<li>Follows safety standards and conducts all imaging procedures accordingly. Maintains proper sterile techniques for procedures, regularly practices aseptic techniques, and ensures compliance with infection control procedures. Complies with job role, department and hospital safety standards, practices and policies.</li>

<li>Identifies opportunities for corrective action and process improvement providing recommendations, and contributes to meeting department and hospital targets for quality and safety. Reports ¿near misses¿ and inputs errors promptly into appropriate hospital patient safety reporting system to improve processes and identify trends. Utilizes critical thinking skills to observe and proactively address patient reactions (i.e. contrast media and medications) or potential outcomes, as appropriate.</li>

The Data Scientist will focus on designing, curating, and evaluating high-quality datasets and metrics that drive model performance, fairness, and reliability in secure, agentic AI systems. Core responsibilities include:

<li>Design, curate, and maintain large-scale datasets for model training, validation, and simulation — including overhead imagery and multi-modal intelligence data.</li>

<h3>Job Description</h3>
Job DescriptionIn this field-based position, you will visit MJHS Hospice and Palliative Care patients to perform both physical and psychosocial assessments and electronically document visit occurrences. Patient visits will be made in both community and facility settings. As the Hospice Field Case Manager, you will develop and implement nursing plans of care and make recommendations for care based on patients' needs. The schedule includes working one weekend per month and functioning in a backup On Call capacity 2-3 times per month. Car and escort service available for backup On Call shifts.
Qualifications

<li>Associates/Diploma from an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.</li>
<li>2+ years’ experience in a med/surg, community health, and/or oncology nursing setting preferred</li>
<li>NYS RN license</li>
