JOB SUMMARY: Consistent with the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act and/or Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) will provide patient care "through the understanding of nursing standards, recognized by the Minnesota State Board of Nursing. JOB DUTIES: 1. The Licensed Practical Nurse conducts a focused assessment though the collection and comparison of data to normal findings and the patient's current health status. Report of changes will be given to the appropriate licensed health care provider for on-going direction, patient management and delegation of care. 2. The Licensed Practical Nurse participates with health care team in the development and modifications to the patient's health plan of care plan/orders. 3. The Licensed Practical Nurse implements patient care interventions that are delegated, ordered or prescribed by a licensed health care provider. 4. The Licensed Practical Nurse assigns nursing activities or tasks to other licensed practical nurses (LPN). 5. The Licensed Practical Nurse assigns and monitors nursing task or activities that are delegated to certified medical assistants or any unlicensed personnel on the health care team. 6. Focus on patient care through the provision of safe /effective care, patient advocacy, assistance with patient evaluation to interventions and collaboration and communication with health care team members. 7. Provides health care information to patients and reviews education materials. 8. Provides input for policies and procedures 9. Consistent with section 148.211, subdivision 1 of the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act "Accountable for the quality of care delivered, recognizes the limits of practice and competency, and preforms to the level of education knowledge and skill ordinarily expected of individuals who have competed an approved LPN education program."
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Current LPN Minnesota state license, current Medical Assistant certification or registration required. Must maintain license/certification/registration. 2. Experience in an ambulatory health care setting is preferred. 3. Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and maintain positive working relationships. 4. BLS certification to be completed within two months of employment. 5. Demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital policies, vision, mission and values. 6. Maintains reliable and consistent attendance.

Our Slumberland location in Hibbing, MN is currently hiring Full-Time Warehouse and Delivery Associates to help our customers find their dream furniture solutions. This position would average 36 hours weekly. 
The Role of the Warehouse/Delivery Associate:
As a Warehouse/Delivery associate you would move materials from the receiving areas to other designated areas, including the showroom, ensuring proper handling and operations for manual lifts and power equipment to ensure safety. In this position you would also assist with building and grounds maintenance. You are an important member of the team as we put our best foot forward through the display of our showroom, our warehouse, and offering exceptional customer service on deliveries! This position does also include being able to drive our store box truck for occasional service calls or to move product between store locations. May go on deliveries to customer locations. Safe operations of the delivery truck is essential, to include inspections and tracking of fluids and mileage. 
Qualifications for a Successful Warehouse/Delivery Associate:
Valid and insurable driver's license is required for driving. Pre-employment drug testing required, including cannabis. Ability to frequently lift and move up 75+ pounds. Must be approved for a DOT Medical Card to operate our store trucks. High school diploma/GED preferred. Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred, but not required.
