Job Summary: The Clinical Lab Assistant is responsible for assisting laboratory staff in routine moderate complexity testing used to diagnose and treat disease.
Here's what you'll do when you join us:
<ul>
<li>Obtain lab specimens and place lab orders.</li>
<li>Process all specimen types to prepare for testing.</li>
<li>Ensure that testing results are correctly reported.</li>
<li>Provide phlebotomy training.</li>
<li>Complete annual competency.</li>
<li>Enter orders and collection information into LIS system and subsystems. Provide results over the phone as necessary.</li>
</ul>
If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:

<li>Must be 18 years of age or older. </li>
<li>Completion of a phlebotomy training course or phlebotomy experience in a clinical laboratory setting is desired.</li>
<li>Experience in a healthcare related field preferred.</li>
<li>Good interpersonal communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to follow and adhere to Grand Itaca's policies, visit, mission and values.</li>
<li>Maintain reliable and consistent attendance.</li>
