The tech will perform all radiographic procedures while under the general supervision of a licensed practitioner for the purposes of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders at a technical level not requiring constant supervision and within the scope of their license. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
<ol>
<li>Performs all general diagnostic radiology procedures and administration of contrast media with appropriate application of technical and positioning protocols, safety procedures, radiation protection, and proper image identifying criteria according to department policy and procedure.</li>
<li>Verifies physician orders for instructions from requesting physician and consults with the radiologists as necessary. Explains procedure and provides education as appropriate.</li>
<li>Performs equipment warm up, calibration and safety check as needed. Operates hospital computer system. Reports to supervisor any equipment malfunctions. Operates equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines for appropriate quality control.</li>
<li>Responsible for departmental records. Accurately and promptly documents in departmental records (film, file and computer) patient name, exam date, film/image markers, clinical history, complaints, allergies, etc. May prepare file for processing to radiologist. Collects statistics as directed.</li>
<li>Communicates reactions, complications, changes in condition etc. to radiologist, physician, supervisor, peers and nursing unit as necessary.</li>
<li>Performs staff/student education and orientation duties as needed</li>

Location: Woodridge, IL 
Position Summary: The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience, a familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics and have basic troubleshooting experience with proven ability of machine repair to minimize downtime. Providing a safe and timely electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment.
 
Shift Details: Monday-Thursday 5:00pm-1:30am and Sunday-5:00am-1:30pm.
 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes; motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls, and power transmission systems</li>
<li>PLC trouble shooting and problem solving ability with practical, mechanical &amp; electrical aptitude.</li>
<li>Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings</li>
<li>Working knowledge of power transmission equipment and bearings</li>
<li>Familiar with pumps, both air and electric</li>
<li>Able to install and trouble shoot basic 3 phase motor control circuits</li>
<li>Some knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components.</li>
<li>Utilize electrical/mechanical skills to maintain machinery.</li>
<li>Contribute to a collaborative safety culture that drives results.</li>
<li>Provide rapid response to ensure seamless productivity</li>
<li>Set-up production equipment necessary for the specific days’ activity. Assist with shutdowns as well.</li>
<li>Disassemble equipment, rebuild, and replace defective parts and components as needed and reassemble to make final equipment adjustments</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Electrical and mechanical aptitude required in addition to at least 5 years of related maintenance experience.</li>
<li>2-3 years in trouble shooting industrial electrical control systems down to component level</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, stand for long periods of time, bend, twist and stoop.</li>
<li>Ability to use various maintenance tools and personal computer.</li>
<li>Ability to work all shifts as needed and be on-call for emergencies.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a production environment. This job has exposure to ambient/refrigerator/freezer</li>
<li>Ability to read &amp; draw schematics.</li>
<li>Hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience is preferred</li>
<li>High level of electrical understanding (high &amp; low voltage).</li>
<li>Must be able to work 2nd shift, and 1st shift on Sundays.</li>
