Position summary:
The Quality Engineer will provide quality leadership and support to the operations area in achieving quality objectives and effective problem resolution. Position responsibilities:

<li>Develop, implement and maintain quality planning of components and products.</li>
<li>Provide technical support to the organization for implementation of process control techniques, methods and quality methodologies.</li>
<li>Manage and report quality performance indices, including process capabilities, cost of quality and outgoing quality levels.</li>
<li>Lead investigation of customer complaints and/or concerns, implementing solutions with internal functions, suppliers and other Company sites, as necessary.</li>
<li>Perform regular and routine auditing to ensure compliance to requirements of the quality management system and the processes.</li>
<li>Conduct internal auditing in support of ISO 9001 certification.</li>

Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in technical field</li>
<li>Effective use of APQP methodologies, including MSA, FMEA, SPC, etc</li>
<li>5+ years' experience in production environment is required</li>
<li>Familiarity with Quality Management Systems standards (e.g. ISO 9001, TS 16949, etc)</li>
<li>Ability to effectively investigate and resolve problems, including use of 8D Problem Solving, Ishikawa Fishbone, and 5-Why methodologies.</li>
<li>Effective use of problem prevention tools, including Quality Planning, Poka Yoke, D-FMEA, P-FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc.</li>
<li>Effective communication skills with all levels of the organization.</li>
<li>Able to travel, domestically and internationally, when required</li>
<li>Basic SPC knowledge, including X-Bar/R Charting, Cp/Cpk, R&amp;R, etc.</li>
<li>Internal auditing skills.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years' experience in connector / electronics manufacturing is preferred</li>
<li>ASQ Certified Quality Engineer is preferred</li>
<li>5+ years' experience in Quality Assurance is preferred</li>
<li>ASQ Certified Quality Auditor is a bonus</li>

Join our team as an Assembler, where you will be responsible for the assembly and installation of units both manually and using lifting equipment. You will measure parts for installation and perform quality checks on finished parts using rulers or tape measures. Mechanical assembly using hand and power tools will be an essential part of your daily tasks.

Smart Precise Solutions, Inc. is a consulting firm that mainly focuses on engineering-related projects. We are looking for an industrial engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve.
Main Responsibilities:
a) Directs time and motion studies to identify opportunities to improve overall efficiency and cost savings relative to employees and facilities.
b) Conducts or leads in the observation and analysis of work procedures to determine the time and motion requirements of each position or assignment.
c) Analyzes data and specifications to establish reasonable time and production standards.
d) Uses mathematical analysis to identify objective measurements of alternate work patterns.
e) Applies industrial management techniques and principles to develop cost and time-saving recommendations and modifications to work methods, staffing requirements, wage rates, and equipment and facilities upgrades.
f) Promote LEAN manufacturing practices and implementation.
g) Designs and coordinates all phases of the production process using industrial engineering principles and best practices.
h) Manage process documentation (work instructions and visual aids).

Education: Engineering bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering
Experience: 3 to 5 years’ experience in Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, or Biotechnology Industry with strong knowledge in Standard Works and Time Study (preferred).
Required Skills: Strong written and verbal skills in both English and Spanish, presentation skills, ability to write concise engineering documentation, self-starter, strong teamwork abilities. Knowledge in MS Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
