Additional Responsibilities:

Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering plus equivalent years of experience is required. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.</li>
<li>Knowledge of wastewater treatment preferred. </li>
<li>Knowledge of fluid dynamics. </li>
<li>An understanding of centrifugal pumps and air blower packages is preferred. </li>
<li>Strong oral and written communication skills. </li>
<li>Experience reading engineering plans and specifications. </li>
<li>High level of software proficiency including MS Excel, Word, etc. </li>
<li>Must possess a working knowledge of AutoCAD </li>
<li>High attention to detail.</li>

Job Description 
This is a seasonal position with an expected start date in mid-April.
DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a responsible, motivated, and proficient CDL Equipment Operator with good ethics and a great attitude. This person will be responsible for performing the day-to-day routine job operations of Street Sweepers, tanker Flush Trucks, and diverse types of other CDL Equipment.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
<ul>
<li>Operate Street Sweepers and/or Wash Trucks (Tanker).&nbsp;</li>
<li>Implement traffic control measures (maintenance of traffic) and set up safety zones.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Load and unload tanker equipment (water), along with shovels, brooms, etc.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Perform tree trimming tasks, including hauling and removing brush.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Operate pressure washers and sweepers.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Use all equipment and tools in a safe manner.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Operate various Aerial Lift Trucks.&nbsp;</li>
<li>May drive vehicles with manual transmissions.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Perform other related duties as needed.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Qualifications 
EDUCATION:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.</li>
</ul>
EXPERIENCE:
<ul>
<li>21 years of age or older.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Must have a commercial driver's license CDL (Class B).&nbsp;</li>
<li>Tanker endorsement preferred.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background screening required.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Previous highway maintenance or construction industry preferred.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to lift 50-60 pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Previous experience operating a street sweeper or flush truck a plus.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime as required.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Experience in tree cutting and brush removal a plus.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to travel away from home for 1-2 weeks at a time (travel to DE, NJ, NY, PA, and VA; hotel expenses covered by the company).&nbsp;</li>
