Work Experience

The Role We Want You For
The Scheduling and Planning Manager builds and maintains the project schedule and the different baselines in accordance with Clayco's policies, owner requirements, and the on-going analysis of the network logic and validation as it complies with the intent of the project team. The Specifics of the Role

<li>Periodic progress updates of in-progress schedules. Collection of all pertinent data required to update the schedule. The Scheduler is responsible for collection of update data from multiple sources, including the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Owners Representatives and subcontractors. All update data shall be approved by the Project Manager prior to incorporation into the schedule.</li>
<li>Maintenance of Project Schedule Baselines. Maintains Project Schedule Baselines in accordance with Clayco's policy regarding Baselines and any additional requirements the Owner's contracts may include.</li>
<li>Periodic Performance Report Generation. Generation of project specific Performance Reports as well as Clayco Standard reports, including but not limited to: Critical Activities Report, Baseline Deviation Report, Earned Value Performance Index Report and Project Cash Flow Report.</li>
<li>Cost and Resource Loading of Schedules. Required at a minimum on all Clayco projects to include the Clayco Metrics Resource Set for project staff and General Conditions. As required by the project, updating cost and resource actuals may be required as part of the periodic progress update process.</li>
<li>Network Logic Analysis and Validation. On-going analysis of the network logic and validation that it complies with the intent of the project team and that it complies with the Clayco Standard Guidelines for network logic. The network logic on-going analysis shall also include removal of extraneous and superfluous dependencies that may cause errors in calculating total float and criticality.</li>
<li>Assist in preparation of Monthly Schedule Reporting. Preparation of the required reports for the project and shall include assisting with the draft of the Monthly Schedule Narrative.</li>
<li>Schedule Development. Developing schedules from the ground up for both proposals and construction projects. Development of both types of schedules shall be a team effort.</li>

Requirements

<li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, or related major is required.</li>
<li>6-10 years of scheduling experience.</li>
<li>Data Center experience.</li>
<li>Recent expertise and a proven knowledge of Primavera P-6 scheduling management system.</li>
<li>Project Management experience working for general contractor preferred.</li>
<li>Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook and willingness to regularly update skills.</li>

Skills &amp; Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or the sciences, or business preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
5+ years manufacturing supervision experience desired, furniture-related manufacturing background a plus. (Especially in textile cutting, sewing and upholstery)
Understanding and experience in Lean Manufacturing preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of safety and quality assurance programs required.
Demonstrated understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and ability to identify and implement root cause corrective actions.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations and manage multiple projects.

PK Associates’ Denver Office drafting/modeling team is looking for a driven REVIT and CAD operator to join our dynamic and diverse team to assist with the production of structural construction drawings. Our drafting team works hand in hand with our engineering team to ensure that the best possible construction documents are created for our clients.
The REVIT and CAD operator will create Structural REVIT and CAD details that are added to the construction documents as well as incorporate changes to the current documents under the supervision of our Structural Engineers and senior-level REVIT / CAD team members.
Candidate must be strongly motivated, deadline-oriented, and comfortable with operating in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities

Apply excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Utilize REVIT efficiently and accurately to create structural REVIT details for a variety of building types.

Effectively interact with engineering staff along with the project architect(s) throughout a project’s development

Utilize strong time management skills, including organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization

</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>
1-5 years of relevant professional experience in the architectural/structural field
</li>
<li>
1-5 years of experience utilizing REVIT/AutoCAD
</li>
<li>
Familiarity with REVIT setups (i.e. project templates, view templates, families, and worksets)
</li>
<li>
General understanding of structural construction materials (i.e. steel, concrete, wood, etc.)
</li>
<li>
Ability to shift focus as project deadlines change
</li>
<li>
Basic understanding of print reading and construction document production
</li>
<li>
Technical training/education is a plus but not required
</li>
</ul>
